Dude I am telling you this Reign of Nether mod have insane potential, especially considering it can be combined with other mods. I would pay an AAA game money for full completed version of this

You can play it as normal while other players play the RTS part. You can be a hero character of sorts. Pretty cool.

@@mateusfolletto6142 yes and no, since the mod requires to map be generated as nearly all flat with no undergroudn cave system and no mountains. Normal playing like that is quite flat

Imagine a building where you hire exploration team to go on expedition to nether or just to underground caves and after they comeback you get realm/biome specific resources that helps you research some tech Edit: or even unlocks a new building

you should try it with ultra modded raids. there is also a mod called factioncraft that adds new mob factions like endermen and undeads and also new raid types. you should try it too if it is compatible with RTS mod

been testing it with create the other day, as long as you anchor the contraption, your units can find a path onto it and then you can move the entire contraption, would love to see custom maps made with this, has big potential

Modded mobs spawn naturally in RTS mode and modded mobs must spawn on the ground (that’s the reason why i can’t fight Ferrous Wroughtnaun)

Reign of Nether's only issue atm for me is that the faction NPCs (like villagers, mobs, etc) generated by RoN have their own models and textures that are identical to vanilla. Meaning that resource packs that replace or add to vanilla villagers don't affect RoN villagers at all. Same goes for any RoN mob.
I'd love it if they could somehow modify vanilla NPCs to be controllable instead of having entirely separate entity files. ;w;
Might be asking for too much.

Nothing so far but there could be some addons and compability from other mods to give the player something worthy like an artifact, lots of resources, unlocks and so on

It’s not for me to decide, of course, but in my opinion, pushing villagers and illagers into one faction is not entirely correct, considering their relationship in the original Minecraft.
