Both of them look great, so that would be a cool combo.
Though both don't blend well in terms of animation and art style. But they work.

Something about the monsters having unique death animations alongside turning red like a typical Minecraft mob looks really nice to me.

Honestly the two mobs I'm excited for are the Phoben and Biloko. Those two seem to be pretty cool mobs. The Sculptor also seems pretty good as its a mob that actually makes the player do a platforming challenge for cool powers.

My personal big gripe with Minecraft is that its always felt like its had a lack of challenging/interesting mobs, especially in the overworld. I'm glad mods like this exist.

A little tipp for New people in the mod: When you have a broken mask (that depends on the health of the Masked guy) just spawn him and heal him with a healing Potion. Then the masks are repaired and health regained!

The mod is really good, each mob has their own attacks pattern so there is no reason that this mod should not be included inside a RPG styled modpack
Bruh the Barakoa is the best thing here. They can even be carried around like pokemons in a pokeball
This mod should be by far the highest quality mob mod in Minecraft
All of the mobs in here could be put in a Zelda game and I wouldn’t know they were from this mod

The animations in this mod are so well done given it's artstyle. As sad as the Grottol death is, the twitching of the legs and it rocking back and forth upside down is such cool attention to detail

This mod combined with Electroblob's Wizardry and Ice and Fire, your minecraft world will literally be a fantasy realm full of gods, creatures, and magic aplenty!
The Grottol, (being this little critter that drops very valuable materials and runs away from you and you have to catch it before it vanishes) very much reminds me of the crystal lizard from Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, as well as the Wandering Madness from Bloodborne and the Teardrop Scarab from Elden Ring.

i will say though, i wish the barakoa were a little more monster-ish, it feels weird fighting like, just straight up little tribal guys

I find some animations to be kinda funny, like the wroughtnaut death animation and the way the naga falls down when it's struck by an arrow. They look kinda cartoony but i think that adds to the charm

This is a 1.12 mod. You can see by the old textures. Bad Omen has not been added to the game.
The Ferrous one is amazing. It even has its own death effects, like before dropping it's loot, It will lay down.

when a foliaath Is young you have to feed it its favorite food in order to tame it which is raw meat of any kind and once it is fully grown it won’t attack the one who made it grow healthy and strong also two new things you can transport them by using giant flower pots and you can feed them with raw meat to heal them.
Easter egg: naming a foliaath chomper will give it a skin texture similar to the chomper from plants vs zombies.
Imagine pairing this with the Wyrmroost Dragon Mod, it be frickin amazing

The animations in this mod are so fluid and well done. I absolutely adore it, glad I got this in my recommend. I think my favorite enemies from this mod has to be the savannah guys and the Grottols. I can't wait to see what else the mod has to offer in the future.

My favorite enemies are the Ferrous Wroughtnaut,Frostmaw, and the Naga. All of them would fit so well in a Fantasy Medieval Game/Anime/Story

How to get the ice crystal in survival without having to fight the frostmaw
All you need is a potion of invisibility, use it and you can collect the ice crystal without waking up the frostmaw
Fun fact: once you collect the ice crystal from the frostmaw, it loses the it's ice based attacks!
