Sold my truck so my Spyder is the only transportation I have (wife still has her car). Been super busy but I also really miss when I can't ride for a while.
I like riding alone, for a stress reducer. But I also like riding with the wife! She doesn't like riding as far as I do so I may have to consider a trailer for longer trips.
Trailers are a good call, fixing a few issues quickly.
I hate when my bike is in the shop. Feels like something is missing
So true, like many things out of place.
I ended up going from smaller sportier bikes to a bagger in a lot of ways because I wanted the wife to come along more. She's come a long way in terms of "road legs" over the past year or so. We've got our camping/hoteling pack out pretty dialed at this point. Cheers!!
When alone I pack light and make it great, with her we always take to much.
@@motorcyclestoriesbydarkdave Haha definitely had that struggle out of the gate. We basically give ourselves one packing cube + one TSA toiletry bag for personal effects if it's less than 5 days now. Depends on the weather, but if we don't need to pack rain gear, there's some room for a hoodie, long johns, etc. available.
@Chasing.Adventure always bring rain gear, we are traveling to Michigan from DC. I think I have a fix. She now has a bag half the lower trunk and the strap on top bag the tour pack is for work stuff and digital stuff have to film and work is always there.

2022 Tri Glide, Ultra. Not the CVO or the RG3 much less the Freewheeler.
