I was just outside that bus, standing in line waiting for the show to begin. This just gives me such a happy heart knowing that they were inside doing this. Thanks, Crackerfarm, for ALL that you do and share with us.
I've never felt so lucky to find such a wonderful, talented, mind blowing, goosebumpy butterfly inducing group! I still remember the first time I found them -- right after emotionalism was released.. I only knew songs from migonette and counry was... they played mostly their new stuff.. but I was glued...GLUED to them none the less. Every Avett experience I've had, has been pure bliss.
So true I have never known of any other band or artist that puts as much material out as they do for us to enjoy! and I hope it never stops!! It shows there just down to earth people that truly do care about there fans! Just good ol folk from NC, just like me!
I really really want to meet these guys.....These guys are on a whole another musical plain compared to the music culture of today....This is the kinda music that comes out of my soul when I play...This is music from the soul..This the music that will save the music industry......This is the music I love to listen to...Thank You guys so much...
I also thought Seth was pissed until they started and Scott said " oh I thought we were play die die die." Then Seth started smiling pretty sincerely. So no, he wasn't pissed. Just tired probably. I do lthink it's really funny how Scott awkwardly tried to figure out what to do with himself after though.... The man needed a capo!
scott: "we playing die die die? hmm i don't have a capo.. ( seth: "and it spread").. i don't have a capo" .... "haha oh i thought we were doing the die die die" cracks me up. i love these guys
This is great. Just curious to know what made them need to practice this song on this particular day? They've played it live many times and I would have figured they had it down cold. Maybe there was something in particular they needed to work out. Either way, very nice.
I know for a fact Seth's voice could handle that song two steps lower. Total Scott- blocking. Beautiful though. If we stir up enough comments, can we get another version with both of them next time you're on the bus???
Any time an Avett touches an instrument in even the slightest way, a camera needs to be there to capture it on film. And then that footage needs to be released for public consumption/appreciation.
95% of the music I listen to is Avett. I'm obsessed. Now I just need to get to a live performance!
nice same here

I greatly enjoy Scott's last little note on the banjo at the end of the song =)

I'm so thankful for Fridays, this coffee in my hand, and The Avett Brothers. Thank you.
My Spotify playlist is titled " Left on Laura Left on Lisa." I can't stop listening to the Avett Brothers. I need professional help!

"I don't have a capo"...awkward clap.
Recorded on my birthday....shit, now that's a nice gift!
Wow... just found this I suppose... thanks for this incredible intimacy... I'll always love how Scott and Seth switch off in harmony for each other...

I've been getting to know a new girl lately and I've since felt emotionally invigorated. And it spread. I'm going to ask her out today. :)

Scott seems troubled, I hope he is alright. I feel as if they go back and forth and get each other back in line when one veers off.
I love how just as I was wondering "why can't I see Joe" he appears in the mirror,
Dare to dream, dream to play....stuck in the cluster with all your other fans. You guys rock

Scott should've been able to transpose down two steps
nah. the beauty of a banjo is the open tuning. Wouldn't be the same
nice par-a-did-dle Jacob!!
Nice bus.
@stevenr21 ... definitely !!
What kind of barre chords is he playing during the verse? The ones that look irregular.
Solid paradiddles
what are you pondering scott?
@tomryaneddy which ones? i can help!
Yes, Scott, please pick up the banjo! Darn...
Scott got sooo ready for the wrong song, then denied lol.
the wonderful city of chattanooga, tn, of course. :)
just three note barres, using his pinky rather than his ring finger. the two fingers in the middle are just muting the E and e strings.
This is their bus? Can I live on it?
Scott had the body language of Morrissey in the beginning of the song.
A capo? I don't have a capo. My capo...
Scott, you can borrow my capo.
You can borrow my capo Scott.
Seth looks annoyed
@TylerCampbell2 He's just seen the next girl for the Pretty Girl series and he's writing it in his head.
is that you drumming?
i thout it said "annit's bread"
Scott is hilarious. Hahaha.
Darn it 2 min late!

They are the bizest.
@mbgrayback no

That Seth sucks at guitar... ;)
