I'm not usually into large eyeshadow palettes. I simply don't know what to do with them most of the time. But this one, this one looks so different. Al the colors look super wearable. You've just convinced me to buy it.

I absolutely love this palette and it looks great on you! I was surprised how versatile it is! There are so many different ways to use it from light and everyday to a smokier dramatic look. It’s just beautiful!! I know it will be one of my favorite purchases of 2024!

This gorgeous palette reminds me of the beauty of nature, northern lights ( toned .down version of course), PM #6 Midnight Sun as I lived in Alaska for 5 yrs( due to my profession F/A ) and this is Summer in AK with almost 24/7 sunlight and the many colors in nature. 💜💙💚

This palette is so pretty! The ColorStory is just perfect. I’ve become a makeup minimalist and prefer one and done shadows, but lots of these shadows could be one and dones. Oh my. I told myself I wouldn’t purchase anymore palettes.
Lol, it's hard to say no to something like this.
It looks fabulous on you! I have it too and love, love , love it! I use the dark blue and teal shade as a liner on the upper lids, using a flat liner brush to press it close to the upper lash line. The effect is stunning and makes my eyes really pop. I add Byredo's Eroded Echo mascara to complement it and that works very well. I have zero makeup skills with applying dark blues and teal so the liner technique works best for me. Overall this is a gorgeous palette, and together with Remembrance, bring me great joy. I love that Byredo release one large palette per year. It's like the old days, where collections were released every few months, giving us something to get excited about and to enjoy the thrill of anticipation of a new collection.
Oh, and the shades definitely remind me of the Stockholm archipelago - the rocks, the Baltic, and muted Nordic landscape colours. It's spot on. Lucia Pica did an excellent job with Byredo.
I love the idea of using them as liners. They really accent the other shades well. I agree with you about their releases. I wish all the companies would go to fewer releases but making them worth the wait.

Hi Lexi! I did receive my Byredo palette from Fude Japan; I asked you in a recent comment about the company. It came securely packaged and pretty promptly as well. I love this palette! Every shade is beautiful and I have been using it quite a bit since it arrived. It was worth the splurge, especially since I was considering purchasing a Tom Ford and Dior palette from Sephora and they are both pricey for less product. Thanks for a great review!!

Hi , i would also like to order it from Japan, but in terms of shipping cost , i'm in Europe, did you had to pay much ? It seems like that site is the only one left with palettes. Every where i looked, it was sold out .
I did pay extra for shipping; I think about $20, but it was packed well, and arrived quickly. I ordered from Fude Japan.

I got this palette from Selfridges as soon as it came on their website. This is the eyeshadow palette I've been waiting for! The colour story is inspired, cohesive and almost most important different than anything on the market right now. I think it's great that Byredo makes these large palettes different from year to year, they are not like Pat McGrath or Charlotte Tilbury etc. basically releasing the same colour story over and over.

Well, you influenced me! The Remembrance palette is absolutely one of my favorite palettes ever… But I didn’t think that I would get any use out of this one. Thanks for showing me how I can use it on my brown eyes and pale skin!

I had my eye on this one because I was always chapped that I was not able to get the Remembrance palette. Mineralscapes has been out of stock a few times I checked, but when I looked again earlier today it was in stock. I was a bad girl and bought it. I'm so glad to see this review. Considering the price, I hope I'll be pleased with the formula.

Hi dear Lexi, this is a real Lexi review, unmatched precise and detailed, this is the best video about this palette i have seen until now!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I ordered the palette at Toshiya from Fude Japan, because something else i pre-ordered there, showed up here in Europe already, and i asked if i could choose this palette instead, he is so helpful always, i said take your rest, it was late there, but he shipped it today, i really love this company, besides the fact that almost all shops in Europe did not have the palette anymore, i believe only Byredo themselves. The explanation between the 2 designers, Isamaya and Lucia is also very helpful, and i already see that it's less crumbly than the first palette, but love that one, as well as palette nr. 2, the bigger palettes from this brand are really worth it, it says something when i want a bigger palette, because i hate to store to much stuff, but Byredo is really worth it! Nice colour story. However, I would take out one of those dark blues and add in a dark brown or dark green to suit my dark skin even more

Great job reviewing, Lexi! You are so right: as someone who is as fair as you and loves cool tones, this is a dream palette! Even though I have green eyes, I’m sure I can work with all the shades - I find using a deep eye pencil prevents the lighter and medium blues and greens from washing out my eye color. I haven’t used all the shades yet, so I have more fun to look forward to. I can tell you’re enjoying this palette as well.

I am a special-occasion only eyeshadow wearer and so there is no rational reason for me to have a palette with this many options -- but it is SO beautiful!! Maybe one day they'll make a smaller palette with the creamier formula. Thank you for your in depth review!!

Lexi, Never downgrade your application skills! I don't follow anyone who only does editorial looks. What would I do with that? I want wearable looks and you've created many with this. I'm surprised by how many gorgeous looks you achieved. This palette is surprisingly practical. And anything from Lucia Pica that isn't full of red is a nice surprise.
I love this palette. But I'd love it more if I didn't have so many deep blues and olives in other palettes. I have the blues in the ND Xenon palette. And I have a bunch of olives, terra cottas and golden greens in a palette I created for myself from Sydney Grace singles some time ago. Those cool taupes make the palette. But I can't see shelling out over $110 for just those colors. And I may have those in the ND Glam palette, YSL Stora Dolls or in others in my collection. More work to create a similar look from multiple palettes, but I don't see myself reaching for this every day.
However, you've done the best review I've seen. And your lighting really gives a true viewing of the actual colors and finishes. Excellent for making purchasing decisions. Thanks for the video. You look lovely in this.💚

I just run my finger over the top, don't dig in at all, pat, pat, pat and my T Zone is mattified and stays that way. Amazing product! Thank you.

Great swatches and eye looks you created . This looks like a beautiful palette.The formula looks like silk . I tend to purchase smaller palettes or one and done shadows , I do find big palettes a tad overwhelming for me personally , and have found that I don’t utilise all the shadows . I have just purchased the Givenchy 9.12 from your recommendations 😊🤗

Really appreciate your swatches and descriptions of undertones because on the surface this is a muted, overall neutral-cooler palette. But it is pigmented and could pull warm if pairing it with warmer shades. The blues, greens and grays are beautiful layered over a liner. 🥰

I love that it’s leaning more cool tone and that they didn’t repeat shades. I’m on the fence only because of the lack of matte formulas. Shimmer shades are not that flattering on an aging eyelid.
I understand, it's hard not to have everything in the one palette. I think the matte shades they included though are very versatile.

I purchased this after watching your review. Am amazed at the heft of the palette. All pans are larger than I expected. It is so lovely. I hesitated because it is by far the most expensive palette I have ever purchased. But in my opinion it is worth it. My only complaint…please don’t make palettes with shiny metal surfaces. The fingerprints drive me crazy. Byredo is not the only manufacturer that does this. Thanks for what you do, Lexi.
I am so glad you love it!! I agree about the metallic packaging though. Fingerprints drive me nuts also. I'm always wiping them with a microfiber cloth.

@@LexiJong Dear Lexi, I bought the palette today and I'm so thrilled. I think this may become one of my all time favourites. At the counter (Selfridges) Mineralscapes wasn't out, I had to ask for it. I was given a tester and brushes, and whatever those brushes were made of, they were not good with the larger 18 pan. I used my hand for swatches, the powders hardly left a mark. Thank goodness for your (and others') positive reviews. When I got home I used Wayne Goss Artist set (grey squirrel) 🐿 🐿 very gently, and I'm pleased to say they went on perfectly. If anyone is on the fence about this one I'd recommend.
The New Chanel healthy glow powders are available at Saks 95$ they have 3 of the five colors . I left u a message about them yesterday the blush bronzers looking product with the 3 strips of colors. Just letting u know.

Hi Lexi! How is it compare to viseart Paris nude and bridal satin?
It's a bit more muted overall than bridal satin and cooler overall than both palettes. Paris nudes has more warmer shades in it than this palette and the byredo has a more blue/green vibe overall whereas the viseart seems to center more around mauves as a base in cool and warm hues.

I have the blue one also and it's a great shade.
The blues in this palette look very wearable, and I can’t usually say that about blues. The other shades I probably have between Natasha Denona and Chantecaille, and maybe some Pat McGrath. Oh I do love this colour story, and if my makeup drawers weren’t full I’d happily buy it. If these shadows wear better than the other brands then I could be convinced though.
They don't crease even without a primer (on me) but the other brands have very nice formulas too so you can save your money.
Surprisingly, I am going to pass on this one (also I am on a no buy for products I have not used up). The Rememberance and Flora Kahalari palettes are magnificent. As for these colors: now seeing all the shades in action - I do have all relevant colors.... Just not in one palette. For a hot minute I got FOMO (limited Edition and so on) but got passed it. Hi, I’m not a fan of these large palettes but this one is a must have for me. It has a lot of colors that I have been looking for. And the teal mascara that Byredo had would look beautiful with some of those teal blues.
I know Selfridges is carrying it but will any dept. stores here in the U.S. or is it only limited to the Byredo website?
Yes! I love the teal mascara. It's so hard to find now and I don't think it will be restocked at any of the department stores. I think the palette will be available at department stores soon though.
@@LexiJong Selfridges are still stocking the Eroded Echo mascara. I love it so much I bought 2 back ups. I hope Byredo makes it permanent.

I ordered another but I have found a very similar color in Addiction Tokyo's Pine Tree. It isn't as volumizing though.
Is there much fallout with this palette? I've seen a review that says there is xoxo
It's going to depend on application to some extent but I haven't really had much fallout. There are a few shades that are better to be patted on than swiped because of fallout of shimmer but nothing major imo.

Unpopular opinion here!😁For me this palette is not well balanced. It has only 2 or 3 bright shades and they are not pigmented because they are toppers. I like neutral and cool tones but all colours are dark plus 2-3 toppers. That means 0 luminosity. So this palette is not for me.
