Great set, cool and interesting. Less cool is the EU and UK price of course which makes no sense; it should be 50 Euros and £45 as that's always been the normal standard for sets that cost $50 in the US. It's a shame it's yet another set that needs a discount to be even remotely reasonably priced, which have been piling up so much in the past year.
As someone who wanted a unique flying-type system build with a quality mechanism, but who also can't justify the cost of the Ornithopter, I think I might go for this one
That's a pretty cool set for this price. I wonder if it'll become a good parts donor for bricklink resellers because there's a lot of interesting pieces here for steampunk machines.
i saw i another lego reviewer who mentioned that lego sends reviewers sets that have paper bags when in fact the regular consumer is still getting plastic and i am a lego collector and as of yet all of my lego purchases have never came with paper bags ... i'm very disappointed
You shouldn't really believe everything you see on the internet. LEGO gradually changes the packaging machines in factories, so in some regions you get paper bags, in others you still get plastic bags. That Mr. UA-camr from the USA apparently missed to do a bit of a research before making his slightly clickbait video...
@@RacingBrick I'm no UA-camr. All my 2024 new sets have been 95%+ paper bags, with just the occasional plastic inner bag or loose wrapping round bigger parts.
Also not a UA-camr and my copies of Notre Dame, the Dungeons and Dragons set, Chrysanthemum, Plum Blossom, Poinsettia Kingfisher and Endurance all came with paper bags which are all new releases this year. I am in the UK and I do think that the paper bags are coming much quicker in Europe
Well, probably taking into account the 25% tariff that Trump will be placing on Mexican imports. That would push the price up to $62.50 for the US, since the North American LEGO factory is in Mexico.

Do you maybe know where can i buy robot inventor i know it's discontinued and I've been searching for months 🙏
I'd suggest to check Bricklink
Once LEGO fixes the typo regarding European pricing, I will buy this
Those are some really cool building techniques, also some really nice geometry.
Love the playability

If Noctua made shock absorbers...
Underrated comment! 😂

As someone who got the ornithopter, I will be unable to get this because Lego has my wallet
1:03 bro got scared after 2 seconds 😂😂😂
Love the set!
No Ezio Auditore, what a pity...
Very cool set and the technique to build it looks fantastic!
Looks quite good

Yes
This will go pretty nice along with my modern-day COBI fighter jet collection as a sort of great-great-grandfather to them all :)
Knight Castle fantasy flying machine mod for Wolfpack or Forrestman
@racingbrick cool set. Bit pricey tho. I love your t shirt. I’m wearing mine right now. I may even wear it when I’m driving my full size transporter!
LEGO thought Europe was Denmark and decided to price the continent with Billund pricing.
I built the Da Vinci Flyer by JK Brickworks but this is much better. Should I get it, I'll want to motorize it.
Balász, I'm looking at 2:24 thinking 'hmmmmmm, ballista' - am I crazy?
What kind of exchange rates does Lego use?
Their own....................
There are a few sets like this one where, for no clear reasons, america get them way cheaper than europe...

Da vinky
The flying emmet's machine
How does this math works? $50 = 60€ ?

Sales tax is not added to the US price. So that accounts for about a 20% price difference in EU, where this tax is already included.
Greedy math ;-) Or maybe DaVinci demanded a licence fee from the afterlife
