Hello Stephan, I'm currently using your dotfiles in version 2.9 and I just have to thank you, but unfortunately the virtualization part seems a bit confusing, I would like to suggest a video configuring the system so that everything works with virt-manager + looking glass on a newly installed system (which is my case, where I installed it on a minimal arch). I have a question that happened to me a few days ago I came back to hyprland and I found a surprise and is that I install virt-manager followed your script and other guides as I was a little desperate, but everything is installed well but there is no way to run virt-manager or from the terminal or from the menu of apps, someone knows what may be happening, some update in Wayland that leaves virt-manager incompatible, I would appreciate some help and clarification, thank you very much!!!
Thank you so much for your feedback. Virt-Manager is working without issues on my system. Is virt-manager not listed as application? Can you open an issue on my Gitlab and share more details and screenshots?
Every user has preferences and Manjaro has a huge community. But that’s the best on Linux. Everyone is free to choose the distro that fits to personal needs.
Thanks. I think that Manjaro is a great distro. But the packges are not up-to-date and behind Arch Linux and other distros. They will be normally released after few days but this can cause conflicts especially with dynamic projects like Hyprland where latest packges are needed. If you accept this and are willing to wait few days to get the latest feature than Manjaro would work for you.
great work! but not working with nvidia :( ...my second monitor looks black and cant find a way to fix it...when I change to plasmax11 monitor is detected without problems
@@Smoonwalkerm I am sorry to read it. You can try to install basic Hyprland with sudo pacman -S hyprland and try it again. And then install the files again.
Do you have an NVIDIA card? If yes, please follow the guide on Hyprland Wiki. If not can you switch to another tty with CTRL+ALT+F3, login and start Hyprland with the command "Hyprland"

Why people use manjaro instead of arch?
Every user has preferences and Manjaro has a huge community. But that’s the best on Linux. Everyone is free to choose the distro that fits to personal needs.
Also Manjaro is a little slower on updates so less chance of an upstream update borking your system. As I have had under Arch and Arco more than once.
btrfs and multiboot with win11 work in manjaro very well, you have the arch help and the manjaro help, grub theme and os theme are well chosen

Yeah. Hyprland with nvidia is tricky. Please check wiki.hyprland.org/Nvidia/

Yes. Should work. But please be aware that Manjaro is sometimes a bit behind the latest versions of the packages. Can result in issues.
