Wish I saw this before my $100.00 purchase.. My pink dress with white and black polka dots looks like a 1950's costume. I have many fashions , original vintage ( from 1952-1959) and retro look ...This looks like something from party city for Halloween. The other well let's just say I learned my lesson quick !
Wish I’d seen this earlier-I bought a dress from here that is just unwearable. It looks like a costume from the $2 shop and fits so badly. It looked so nice on the website photo 😭

Just wondering- did you check the size chart and they just totally sent you dresses with wrong measurements or did you assume a small (or whatever size you bought) would be standard US sizing?
Came here to ask this exact question. She seems really upset about the sizing but we don’t know if she used the sizing chart and measured herself before buying. Especially because she couldn’t even remember buying half of these

I was just thinking of ordering some dresses from this brand today. Because I'm a Japanese who loves vintage fashion and this brand's fashionable ads look very appealing to me.
And also, Japanese instagrammers are recommending this brand to me. I didn't doubt it for a second.

I don't understand why she didn't read the measurements on the website. They are very clear about where everything sits on the page if you scroll down on the item.
I look for tge measurements I couldn’t find them!?!
When I looked on the website just yesterday, the only thing I could find for sizing was that small was a US size 2 and medium was a 4-6. No measurements anywhere.
The size chart is wild and completely unhelpful with the given size options. I would be in the size 10-14 range for the dress i looked at but a size 10 might be tight and a 14 wayyy to big on me so how the hell should i know what to get 😂
No it’s nothing about the style. It’s just a cheap website. Also, the material is cheap or it would fit properly.
It sucks that there aren’t more companies making dresses in this style, but with higher quality and sizing standards.
RetroStage is Trash. CHEAP DRESSES, sizes inaccurate, jersey material not material they advertise. You can find these dresses anywhere. Amazon at least you can return them if they don't work out. DO NOT RECOMMEND. First, the shipping is lengthy. Second and most importantly they make returning DIFFICULT. You'll pay $15 to ship it back and you only have 14 days to do it AND you have to get "approval" from them and answer a bunch of questions before they even agree to take it back. TOTAL WASTE of time and money for a dress that is cheap, you could get from Amazon instead and doesn't fit. 0/10
I bought a swimsuit last July... I'm still waiting for it. I wrote several times to the customer service, but they answer me to be patient and wait... 😞

Hi there, I’m so sorry you had such a bad experience. It was quite sad to see the excitement drain out of you over the course of the video. I will say thank you very much for uploading this video as it has helped me and I’m sure many others not waste their money and excitement on bad quality garments.
Just in case no one has told you, that first pink one definitely is see through.

I hate to say it, but all of those outfits looked great on you (with the exception on the pink with roses). Yeah, you need to take them in a bit, but still, depending on the price, not bad.
I mean, from afar they would look good if you got them taken in but up close, they look cheap AF. Glad I watched this. Thank you!
The only real complaint is that the sizing isn’t right.

Honestly they all came how they were supposed to (minus the weird seems), you're just a very small person and I feel like they just didn't carry them small enough to fit your frame. A seamstress and petticoat would probably fix all of the problems you're having
Either way, the quality was low and the price was high, so I don’t think it’s worth it!
I wish I checked the reviews before I bought my dress. I was so excited but the quality doesn't match how much they ask us to pay.
First off, pay attention to the measurements on the website. Second off, don't purchase dresses that are meant to be worn by people that have boobs.
Thank you for making this! I am so tempted by so many cute dresses on there, but I can see they hide comments in IG that site really slow shipping times and issues. Red flag! Thanks again for the honest review, saving many of us time and money.
I genuinely have had only good experiences, and I’m a plus sized person. Ive bought countless pieces and all mine have came much better quality than this. That being said I sized down in ALL of mine and they are much more flattering that way. I would though say if you’re really skinny that I wouldn’t recommend It seems that it just sits very stiffly and boxy on her which is sad :(

Companies would be smart if they would make good quality dresses that look like this this without charging $100 a dress, because there's a market for it, but most people can't afford $100-$200/dress

From China ,read the return, if the size is wrong, or color, and many other reason they will not give you a refund and you have to pay shipping charges, don't by from China
Shame because on photos everything looks so cute :'( British retro does similar clothing, but it costs way more which is totally reasonable because the quality of their clothing is far better!
Example a small maybe 33" bust and 26" waist so even though someone is a size small if these measurements are not your size then yes it will be too big. Measurements are posted on the website. This video is old so I'm guessing measurements were not available then.

They are Asian imports. You can find the original sources at half price. It's cheap stuff so it is a risk.

So glad I watched this! I thought the website was gonna be a scam but you proved that they send what you order, you just have to be smart enough to check the sizes, the materials, and the cut you're getting.

Definitely by just looking looks like you'd need xs. . and also ugh that sucks I really wanted to order from there but quality ruins it
A lot of places don't make xs anymore it's so frustrating. Even bigger companies sometimes only go small and up. And a lot of outfits (ex. the last pink one) and tops with bra sections are made "standard" for people who have 36C bra size, and then they just shrink that standard thinking that will fit smaller people, but it really doesn't. Any bra that has a round wire poking up the chest is a style only meant for bigger girls or more front-set girls or else it will stab into the chest. And yet they kerp using this style for smaller sizes and it doesn't work.
Ugh..I wasted 300 on this company after watching another review where she glowed about them! Horrible experience and worst quality I have ever seen.

People look at those prices and think the quality will be there? I’ve been suspicious of them from the first time they appeared with such cheap prices. If it’s too good to be true then walk away.
I ordered from them in February I don’t know if it’s normal but it took 17 days for them to ship it and it was only shipped when I emailed asking if I could cancel it and get a refund. Haven’t gotten it yet but hoping it looks ok😭
I just received my purchase from them. I ordered three dress. I want to cry. Very cheap material, and cheaply made. Thread is hanging everywhere. I asked for a refund. I paid a little over $200 they offered me a $30 refund and 10% off my next purchase. Hello! There will never be a next purchase.
@@meloniewilliams3170 That’s absolutely messed. They should have had that labeled on their website, I heard their customer service is absolutely ridiculous. If you can’t get a full refund you might be able to fix the thread but you shouldn’t even have to tbh. Hate how many companies throw out low quality garments and expect to keep customers.
