  • Using Progesterone To Get Pregnant
Signs you need progesterone to get pregnant 👇
Progesterone is one of the key fertility hormones for pregnancy…so it goes without saying, if your progesterone levels are off, you’re going to struggle to get (and stay) pregnant.
That’s NOT to say that everyone should run to their doctors immediately and start taking it.
Understanding what progesterone is, how it supports your reproductive health, and the signs that you may be experiencing low progesterone is the first step.

Great video! You mentioned magnesium. Which type of magnesium is best? Glycinate? Citrate? Malate? Others? Thank you so much!

Dr Sklar, I haven't seen a video on probiotics?! Maybe I'm just missing it?! Should I continue probiotics in the luteal phase with the possibility of pregnancy?! I'm concerned about taking too much after ovulation.

Hello doctor Marc. I have being looking for a red raspberry tea. The only one I could find is a mixed berries tea with Hibiscus. Is it a good tea to enhance progesterone and during which phase of the cycle can I drink it? Could the Hibiscus included in the tea interfere with a potential implantation?

Hey doc, i had a endometrium biopsy 3 weeks ago, everything was normal. However, i have not had my period for 2 weeks ( not pregnant). My Re doctor tested my progesterone and it was 0.4. I was told by her nurse this is low and that their not worried yet. What are your thoughts? Did the biopsy delay my period? Or is it just concidence that my progesterone is low as well. Thanks.

Dr. Sklar? Im curious: as the woman ages, we know that the ratio of good/ unhealthy eggs shifts. Does the body prioritize the HEALTHY egg each month? Or is it just biological russian roulette? Random eggs being " selected"?

    • @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert
      @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert  21 день тому +7

The goal is to encourage it to select the healthy ones and I believe that if your body is supported that it will do that. With that said, it is a bit of roulette.

Is there any harm to taking progesterone if you do not have a low progesterone just, have had multiple miscarriages?

Ive gotten conflicting information on when to start progesterone. I was started on it due to a history of chemical loss. One doctor had me taking 200mg 2x/day orally starting right after ovulation. Another Dr told me that likely prevented implantation and won’t prescribe any until I have a positive HCG test. I don’t want to prevent implantation, but I’m also worried that by waiting it will be too late!!

I’d love to learn more about the hormones in the follicular phase that support progesterone in the luteal phase, and how to support those. For example, I have 26 day periods. I get a positive ovulation test on day 11 and I believe that I ovulate on day 12. I spot four days before my period every single month without fail. Hysteroscopy said no polyps no fibroids. My doctor is saying that the hormones in the follicular phase are what is causing my progesterone to be lower. How do you support those hormones? And what are they?

Dear Dr, thank God I got a live video today 🎉. Please Dr, I had a IVF stimulation injection for 12 days but my body did not respond at all.
I am 44 years old and I don't know what to do. Please help.
I am about to start another set of injections for my next circle. What do I do?
My AmH in Jan was 0.9 and in May it can down to 0.1 I was also told they saw a small cytes on my left ovaries. Never had that before. It's less than 5ml .

This is all about the protocol that is being used and the preparation you have done prior. if the last protocol did not work, don't repeat it.

When i was younger, i used to have cycle around 28 - 30 days. That time, my ovulation started around at 11 - 13th day . But after reaching 35 years old, my cycle getting shorter around 24 - 26 days. I just checked recently that my ovulation started at around at 13th day. My mucus also is not thicker as it used to be years ago. And my area down there is not easy to get wet too even trying to be with my husband. What should i do doctor to have healthy eggs so i can get pregnant?
