That is just a dry erase marker in the torch holder and I used electrical tape to thicken up the marker so the torch holder would brag it. Nothing fancy 👍
Hey Dwayne, good to see you've got the table up and running. It's always a great feeling when something you've built yourself comes to life. MyPlasm is a great piece of software, too.
Yeah it was amazing how easy it was to figure out and use. I still need some practice with it. But so far I’m loving it. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it so much
@@RustysMetalCutSignsDesigns yeah mostly smaller stuff there will be a video coming out soon of a custom alternator bracket I just finished. And looking to do some custom parts for some friends at this time. But I have a lot of projects coming up that will make good use of this thing.
Hi. I Love watching my project :) NICE VIDEO !!! I have 2 questions : 1. Why cost of system is about 800USD ? High Taxes in your country ? Regular Price is $458 plus shipping cost. 2. Why not working on old PC ? What it was a problem ? I have clients with very old PCs ;) Good Luck !
Hey thanks for watching! 👍 sorry I meant to say 800 Canadian. 458 usd converted to CAD = $628.78 and then the duty and taxes and freight came out to around 800. Not that I am complaining. If I was to get all the options this system comes standard with what I was trying to use probably would have been more. So I am glad to have spent the money. As for the computer when I first tryed downloading the software it would not let me unless I had windows 7 or up so I needed a new operating system. But I love the product so far. And look forward to using it more.
Hey thanks for watching! I got it right from proma electronica web site. (Poland) about a week and I had it in my hands. Worth the wait. I hope to do More of a in depth vid on this setup in the near future.
Hello Dwayne, great fun to see that your table is working! I got the MyPlasm for my table aswell and I dont regret it one second. Just dont do the same mistake that I did, be sure to ground your workpiece properly everytime you run the your plasma, or you will damage your THC (arc voltage)😖 For the moment I have a hard time to set proper travelspeed with right amperage and problem with bevelcuts. So if you have better progress on that matter, I would be more than happy if you could share it on another video🙂 U have a subscriber🍻
Hey thanks for the tips! And thanks for watching. Yes I to have struggled with beveled cuts but they seem to be getting better but not really sure what I have done to fix it….. I have just been playing with my settings. But if I figure something out I will let you know. Thanks for the sub I appreciate it so much.
Thanks for video on this as i starting out building my table choosing the controller and electronics watching your video first on my plasma then bunch others pretty quickly sealed the deal i wanted a simpler learing curve as i am in sign business i know design programs . Seems better than mach3 and others .
Thanks for posting this, I am running into the same bs with Mach3 as you did. Too many behind the scenes parameters to set than I really want to deal with
Good, I scored big on a 5x5 Premier plasma table and I think I’ll go this route. With the money I saved it’ll be well worth the investment in ease of use and time saved after I write it in. Thanks again
I’m not set up for that part of the system. It requires a mettle shield that only comes with certain torches. So I would not know how to help much on that.
