I really wish I could get a car like this. I’m in college in debt but still thriving each and everyday. I really hope I could get one of this in the future to visit my parents 150km away from me.
I got it few days ago and it is really good, very low on gas, very smooth while driving and so many safety features. Only thing about it is sometimes doesn’t connect quick unless I open the app. But I’m new to the car and might be missing something.
Just got a 25 Hybrid SE AWD. Very curious how it will handle the snow here in Lake Tahoe. Just wish it had a bit more power for getting up the mountains. Only got it so I would keep miles off my Land Cruiser First Edition. Now will you guys please produce the GR86 AWD rally spec??!
What made you choose that over the lower trim Camrys? I’m trying to decide between the two when they’re pretty similar in prices. I know the interior would be nicer on the Corolla Hybrid SE and it will get better mpgs, but I’m digging the new design on the Camry, the extra horsepower, how it comes hybrid standard, and more room.

toyota you need to concentrate on making the next Generation Corolla the best. Kia K4 just came out and the competition is stiff. There will be push for small cars, and you need to bring younger people to corolla that K4 has done. I think the best way to is to bring a line under GR corolla, called GR Line, or TRD line that is sporty like the apex edition, but is able to compete against Mazda 3 and bring manual transmission. The core of you sales will be small cars, and you need to bring old and young to corolla
If you bring small hybrid truck like the maverick, you need to bring it under the RAV4 name or Corolla name. Everybody want unibody truck to come to toyota. The only way to do this is under the corolla name or The RAV4 name, without killing sales of other cars
do you know what add sportiness to corolla? a powerful engine. it is a shame that with the sedan version, we get 169hp. although that is not bad for daily drive, it doesn't feel sporty. SO, ADD A STRONGER ENGINE: AT LEAST 200hp+.
@@jone30rwdo you realize the Corolla has the most powerful base engine in the segment? For the next gen maybe they’ll add the powertrain from the Prius and Corolla cross into the sedan.
@@jxmar_ it is definitely a GREAT car, specially the look of the SE. however, what i am missing is a more powerful engine; the power of GR in a corolla sedan.

@@MARTINRIGGSS Right? I'd personally like to see an answer to the civic type r. I would BUY an all-wheel drive turbo 4 hybrid Camry. They should drop the GR Corolla engine in this and the Camry. Lamspeed in Australia has a GR Yaris pushing about 880 HP. It can be done Toyota. . .
@@rushilkisoon It's only got a sad NA 1.8 liter engine that makes 121 horsepower and no actual performance upgrades. They're using the letters GR like the U.S. used to use the letters TRD. The "performance" parts are pathetic. Disgraces to TRD and GR.
You don’t need to pay attention to car styling… but if you’re going to comment on it, you should know a thing or two. The overall design has been the same for a number of years, but like the Camry and many other models it has seen changes to styling over that time period. They aren’t all super noticeable, sure, but compare the first year of this generation with this one and it’s not hard to see the differences.
And still no Manual Transmission for the FX models plus the Sedan looks boring compared to the Hatchbacks i could care less cause I'm either buying a 7th Generation Celica GT-S with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission or a 14-16 Scion FR-S with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission. I actually want a 2 Door sports car, it makes sense since ima single guy and I ride alone when I drive. 2 door cars are better.
Right? They made the front look great, but the back has been neglected. The Corolla hatch has nice taillights… the sedan, on the other hand, looks very basic. The XLE (at least) has nice lighting to them, but the modules themselves look very basic and outdated, especially with the dramatic change to the front. But also… Toyota really needs to light up those front turn signals as DRLs. It’s ridiculous to have tiny little circular DRLs when the large swoop (which appears to have inspired big aesthetic updates to the Prius and Camry, as well as others) is so dramatic and modern - especially now that they’ve shown us it’s possible with the Corolla GR. All that said… it’s a great car. No Camry, that’s for sure, but they’ve done a great job with the modern Corolla.
Oh Toyota. Please make corolla more fresh design exterior and interior. This car is so small and just outdated design. Come on Toyota, make corolla phenomenal again. The civic is just better and better than corolla and previous gen of honda.
