I always felt Tuvok was underutilized in Voyager. He really was great at playing a vulcan, so much so I'm conflicted on who I like better, Tuvok or Spock. Wish Voyager had more Tuvok episodes.
Manny Suarez tuvok was the first full on Vulcan we ever got to know well. Even T’pol had to be humanised later on. Tuvok really stayed the same rational Vulcan throughout, bar the occasional temporary changes
I have _such_ a crush on Tuvok tbh, Tim Russ portrayed his character so so well. As a master of emotions, Tim did such a good job on the minute differences in his expressions. Less is more, as they say. A true Vulcan to be sure!
I just recently began watching Voyager. I has taken a long time time. But I will say, I am enjoying Tim Russ's acting immensely! I just watched Season 3 Episode 2 where Tuvok has a brain virus and he goes back to Captain Sulu's ship. Great job!
The petition to get Tim Russ on board with Picard , Severn and the EMH starts here and it starts now. It desperately needs a Vulcan in the new series . and it don't want anybody from JJ Abrams stable .
I was over at my friends house one night, and their young kids were watching iCarly.I heard a familiar voice, and turned around and said to my friend (we both were avid watchers of Voyager) "Hey,it's Tuvok!!!!".....he was playing Principal Franklin. :)
I know it sounds strange, but to me this tv show should be rewarded heavily for what it did for civil rights. You have the nerds who love it for the tech and science aspects but the real fans love it because of genes vision of a future of exploration and co-existence with each other. I was born in 1980 & missed the original series but my grandmother took me to see the search for Spock and the voyage home when I was very young. When the next generation came out I was hooked. To this day it is my favorite TV show of all time. I have a fantastic idea for a new series that I'd love to see on TV that reunites the tng crew minus captain Picard but I have no way to tell anyone who may be able to do anything about it.
The funniest things I remember Tuvok doing: 1 kiIling hologram Nelix 2 in sickbay force field had evil laugh after melding with insign Sueter. 3 Doctor sings donna le mobile and Tuvak had pon far incident.
still think Tuvok was the best Vulcan and security officer of any series , Janeway the best captain , and the EMH the best doctor so Voyager was the greatest ship and crew overall in Star Trek History given the circumstance .
Tim Russ is a true super fan. Considering all the fan work he's participating in, I hope to see him in some future canon material, as well as more fan work!
voyager series looks like 480p on any platform.so blurry and a great series.no other star trek series looks so blurred.anyone know when they will make it better?
With all due respect to Tim Russ there was another female Captain on the Next Generation in "Yesterday's Enterprise" and later on Star Trek Enterprise the second warp5 ship had a female Captain. But that was after Voyager but earlier in the Trek time line. I did enjoy Captain Janeway and the rest of the characters on Voyage especially T'voc.
You see Tuvok ...I see : Comb the desert ! See anything yet?... Nothing here sir (uses huge comb) What about you guys?.. Nothing sir (Huge comb) You guys? (Huge Afro pick comb).......WE AINT SEE SHIT - Tim Russ Spaceballs
I have seen Tuvok smile. I can die happy now.
Season 6. Episode 6. Thank me later
@mike tek Yep, highly infectious!!
I always felt Tuvok was underutilized in Voyager. He really was great at playing a vulcan, so much so I'm conflicted on who I like better, Tuvok or Spock. Wish Voyager had more Tuvok episodes.
I had the same dilemma but decided it’s Tuvok because he’s full Vulcan.
I disagree, i think tuvok had a lot of good episodes. Harry kim shouldve been explored more
Tuvok is one of my favorite characters between both TNG and Voyager. Absolutely badass.
Tim Russ' portrayal of Tuvok was amazing.
great actor him and Leanord were the best actors to play Vulcans or anyone for that matter
Manny Suarez tuvok was the first full on Vulcan we ever got to know well. Even T’pol had to be humanised later on. Tuvok really stayed the same rational Vulcan throughout, bar the occasional temporary changes
Absolutely.
What emotional range
best vulcan in the franchise, one of the best actor. Amazing guy.
Tim Russ was so excellent as Tuvok - one of my favorite Trek characters.
I was never bored whenever Tim Russ stepped up as Tuvok.
Tim Russ is such an intelligent person. Lovely to hear him speak as a human.
Definitely one of the best actors in the ST franchise.
Tim Russ and Kate Mulgrew made Voyager. There were (of course) other great actors in the series, but Tuvok and Janeway were the heart of the show imo.
AGREE
They starred together in a slave-oriented picture. Mulgrew was a mean slave catcher.
I have _such_ a crush on Tuvok tbh, Tim Russ portrayed his character so so well. As a master of emotions, Tim did such a good job on the minute differences in his expressions. Less is more, as they say. A true Vulcan to be sure!
I couldn't agree more with this thoughtful, well-spoken, fantastic actor! I share his opinion. Spot on man! Good on you and all the best!
Live long and prosper Tim Russ! I'm hoping to see more of Star Trek: Renegades.
I liked it.
Cool guy, Tim Russ.
I just recently began watching Voyager. I has taken a long time time. But I will say, I am enjoying Tim Russ's acting immensely!
I just watched Season 3 Episode 2 where Tuvok has a brain virus and he goes back to Captain Sulu's ship. Great job!
Tuvok was very underrated. Great Vulcan 🖖
This guy is so damn underrated, I mean come on. Principle Franklin? Dudes got it. He could also have his own news channel.
I see Tuvok i like, the performance of Tim Russ is something i will always remember.
I'm on a Voyager spree. I'd really like to see Voyager re-mastered in HD.
Fred Fawks : You're not the only one.
I watch it once a year, to remember my Pepaw whom I watched this show with when it aired. I would appreciate very much if that were to happen.
Yeah why the fuck aren't there any Blue Rays?
Star Trek TNG is my favorite. Voyager is my 2nd favorite.
I'd like to see a DS9 1080p re-master, as well!
The petition to get Tim Russ on board with Picard , Severn and the EMH starts here and it starts now. It desperately needs a Vulcan in the new series . and it don't want anybody from JJ Abrams stable .
As long as he says "we ain't found sh!t" at some point
How ironic that you petition for him to join a show that is the antithesis of what he describes Star Trek as in this clip.
@@SongOfStorms411 EXACTLY. STAR TREK DISCOVERY / PICARD? HAHA GTFO.
Truly an amazing actor
Hes such a great actore. More power to you
I really liked Tim Russ as Tuvok. He did a great job playing a Vulcan. I would also like to see him again on the Orville. :)
voyager was awesome
One of the best actors, undoubtedly
I met him once as I was his driver for a Dutch fan club , he is great for his fans spend all the time for fan questions . 😊
Incredible! I'm just in the beginning of the video and he's so incredibly on point! I would love to meet this man and discuss humanity. Lovely!!!
I was over at my friends house one night, and their young kids were watching iCarly.I heard a familiar voice, and turned around and said to my friend (we both were avid watchers of Voyager) "Hey,it's Tuvok!!!!".....he was playing Principal Franklin. :)
franklin sucks eggs! i remember him :) no idea it was the same actor
The stories and the actors made a perfect combination.
Tuvok really did well expanding the Vulcan, very nuanced and skill performance.
Great actor.

The funniest things I remember Tuvok doing:
1 kiIling hologram Nelix
2 in sickbay force field had evil laugh after melding with insign Sueter.
3 Doctor sings donna le mobile and Tuvak had pon far incident.
The sarcasm that his character always gave freely and without spite.
Yes.
still think Tuvok was the best Vulcan and security officer of any series , Janeway the best captain , and the EMH the best doctor so Voyager was the greatest ship and crew overall in Star Trek History given the circumstance .
Tuvok was so much fun and he was my favorite Vulcan together with Lenard Nimoy.
Every time I see Tim Russ being himself it reminds me when Tuvok lost his memory and became Neelix's best friend.
I thought they had to add hair for Tuvok. Turns out they had to remove it! Hail Yee Tim Russ!
Tim Russ is a true super fan. Considering all the fan work he's participating in, I hope to see him in some future canon material, as well as more fan work!
You got your wish in Picard season 3.
This is an excellent interview. Thank you.
Love this man.
best vulcan ever in all star trek series
Marko Ting you know why? Because he’s the only full Vulcan cast member ever. We really got to know him. Even T’pol was made more human later on
His song "Take Me Home" is phenomenal and feels pretty fitting for the Voyager dilemma.
At this time, he might have also been working on voice lines for Knight Captain Kells in Fallout 4. Live Long and Prosper and Ad Victoriam, Tim Russ.
Every time i see him, i can't help but think of the line. "How many i be honest with you today" lol.
voyager series looks like 480p on any platform.so blurry and a great series.no other star trek series looks so blurred.anyone know when they will make it better?
Love Tuvok
Dragon Age:Origins was his best work. Simply amazing. Voice work is undervalued as an art but Tim Russ nailed it.
Tim Russ is the same as Tuvox, just he laughs. Hes a very articulate speaker.
ST: Renegades is one of the most awesome ST movies ever, and hugely underrated. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Fwiw
Best portrayal of a Vulcan
With all due respect to Tim Russ there was another female Captain on the Next Generation in "Yesterday's Enterprise" and later on Star Trek Enterprise the second warp5 ship had a female Captain. But that was after Voyager but earlier in the Trek time line. I did enjoy Captain Janeway and the rest of the characters on Voyage especially T'voc.
If they ever decide to make a movie about Obama here's the guy to play him! They kind of sound alike aswell?
Hey, it’s Ted Franklin
Great actor but very underrated which is a shame
Fun fact: Tim Russ was in Spaceballs, and he said "We ain't found"
NGL
We don't need to see the dang logo flash every few seconds. Put it in an overlay at a corner if you must show it. Please!
She wasn't the first female captain, Just the first female captain lead. Star Trek is far more progressive than the people asking questions about it.
TUVOK
Not many know Tim was also in Spaceballs. Guess which part?.........
Tuvok!
💫🖖💫
"sensors"
You see Tuvok ...I see : Comb the desert ! See anything yet?... Nothing here sir (uses huge comb) What about you guys?.. Nothing sir (Huge comb) You guys? (Huge Afro pick comb).......WE AINT SEE SHIT - Tim Russ Spaceballs
URGHHH 💛💛💛💛🦋💛💛💛💛🙏🏿
They made an interview to see if he "ain't found shit" yet or not.
Aye ad Victorian captain
He almost look like a Younger Barack Obama I'm getting that vibe from him for some reason.
The reason is his looks, his gestures and somewhat his voice.
It's Obama's brother.
strange ears, very round
We ain't found s**t!
Tuvok pushing 200. Starting to look old.
god i miss obama
I'm black and I don't.
Fuck Obumer
Would be a fantastic Obama in a biopic
That interview was inefficient and illogical. It would have been logical to skip it.
timrusswebpage.com? Bwahahaha
Lol. It’s ok. He was lost in the delta quadrant for a while.
As bright as Thomas Sowell, it's a shame he is progressive. Don't forget where progressives came from the social gospel movement, postmillennialism
Too bad he still ain't found shit.
He aint found shit
Damn. Time has beaten his ass.
Ten minutes in the makeup chair and he's Tuvok again.
kerpital : I'm sure it'd take a hell of a lot longer than ten minutes.
If you say so.
What do you expect for someone who is 100+ years old?
Onelung : Touche
