After watching your videos for so long, UA-cam's algorithm had another Pennsylvania Dairyman's channel pop up. It was interesting to see the difference between operations. You and your family run a very clean and efficient business with the health and wellbeing of the cows taking center stage. Great job Eric!
Good to see the vids are becoming more frequent again. I appreciate it. As a dairy farmer in Australia you do an incredible job of explaining a system so different to mine. A talent to be commended & no doubt the reason for your channel’s success 👍👌
Your video brought back memories of milk testing days on our farm in Michigan. Our tester was a guy named Sylvester Abraham who was a great guy and easy to work with. My job (when I was about 8-10 years old) was to put a little orange pill in each jar that held the milk sample for each cow. I think it was some kind of preservative. I thought I was so important...funny what strong memories I have from 50 years ago in a 6-stall flat floor milking parlor...and how many valuable life skills I developed there. Keep up the great work and the videos!!
A lot of different processes to keep up on, from the feed and nutrition, to the cows health as well as their care is enough in itself. But like most farmers, you all push yourselves to get more things done efficiently and cost consciously. Good job with the cows, take care and have a wonderful week.
Good to see you guys using D H I A records. I am sure I have missed a previous video where you were showing this process. We used th big old bulky weigh jars a of my short milking career. Dad all ways said daily weights were the best herd health indicator on the farm. Absolutely not taking anything away from you guys operation at all. You definitely have a very productive dairy ERIC !! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU.
95% today, looking forward to Christmas and skiing in the new year. I was talking to my wife yesterday, she would like to delay her retirement for three years and then we could upgrade our yacht, I would need to occupy myself for that time and I have always wanted to restore a house in France or Spain, so I may do that, having said that she may just retire next spring and we sail our current yacht around the world
If you want an easier way of farming, there’s going to be more to maintain, or just go back to feeding from a trailer, anything that moves will need maintenance.
Going back to your lawn mower video you need to try a ferris available at Messick's a friend of mine had one and he got it at the Abbottstown PA location. It was one of the big block ones add front and rear suspension could mow pretty much anything. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Enjoyed the information on what and why you feed the different commodities to your cows. You are quite the expert hay bale mover. Thanks for the great video.
If you were creating a milking parlor from scratch would you still go with the style you have now or would you consider the carosel that they ride around and go back out? Is there a big difference in the procedure? Is one way more efficient then the other?

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR'S ERIC AND TO YOUR FAMILY AS WELL
Stay warm and safe brother from the imperial county California and have a merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 you and your family
It’s so cool how the milk testing in America is similar to New Zealand
A Merry Christmas
And happy, healthy and blessed new year to you and your whole family
Often when the belt starts running off like that the grove in that shaft has got filled up with feed or gunk of some sort. Happy holidays!
So amazing as to what goes into your feeds god bless
First time I have ever seen a cat at the farm.
It's all the milk 😂
Ive never heard of a farm that didn't have a cat.
I'm sure there's barn cats around. Usually not exactly pets.

Aloha from Ohio

Thanks
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊
Will you ever do fans visiting the farm?
Cool, thanks for showing us!
That’s the first time seeing a cat on any of your videos, come to think of it I haven’t seen the little jack russel in awhile.
Happy Holidays!!
Thought you were going to pop a chocolate milk out from under that belt. 😅 Have a good Christmas.
Keep going Eric, who does the milking Christmas Day?
Good video. Wan to wish all of you a blessed and Merry Christmas.

From unloading the hay we can tell you liked Legos as a kid!
Glad mine mixer has no beld ! Just 2 doors to open and the feed will fal out
How come you don't make your own hay? Cost effective to buy?
We don't have enough land to grow all our feed so it makes sense for us not to deal with dry hay. This hay is likely coming from lower quality ground.
Need a snappy toon over those time lapses, dead air isn’t it !
Good stuff Eric
Going to buy some merch, Nice video
Looks like you might’ve unloaded a semi a time or 2.
Keep up the great videos
wow, green and no snow there
You sound all stuffed up head colds are the worst! Merry Christmas to you all!!
Over all which do you feel is better; a belt or a chain conveyor for the TMR mixer?
0:30 That is one SMALL cow, what breed is that?
All good!
Hey brother, we want the video to be longer than 30 minutes because we really enjoy your content. Your creativity has arrived. Good-bye
Do you guys have silos for the milk hauling ? Or is it direct ship ?
Would love to see a video about the milk loading and hauling
You show them starting to test milk you should show how much each cow gives . Then we can see how good the cows are.
Very cool!
Do you milk two ot three times a day?
3x
i need nearly 6 minutes for watching your video (1,5x speed), in this time you get 95 likes - good job!
You have cats? Nice.please show some from the milkconteiner and the milktrucks
love the video
Good eye.
Hi, Eric!
I just to tell you to have a good Christmas with your family from family too your Kitchener Ontario Canada
And if nothing helps, after we have tried everything, we read the manuell... 😉
A cow makes 75 to 80 milk a day?
That's pounds of milk. 8.6 lbs in a gallon.
❤❤❤❤❤
Excuse me?
Could you give me a work in dairyfarm/shop/restaurant/factory/hotel/others?
