    You can also use the light reflection of a gel to get a similar effect. 4x4 CTB works great.

    From the title, I thought this would be about using frosted translucent mylar for diffusion, so the "slivered" mylar effect was totally unexpected! I wonder if you could get a more "light reflecting off a pool of water" effect if the strips were strung more-or-less horizontally between two rods, somewhat loosely, then the fan blowing lightly on the strips, and lights aimed down into the strips, bouncing up?

    This effect was similar in Blade Runner , except they used water.They bounced the light off a water bowel.
    This will be usefull.

    Why you do not create a paid training series for lighting, your work is very awesome, we want to see more, do you know what we like in your tutorials that you do not use expensive gear
