Everything you say is useful Matthew Rosen.
As always, simple but complex effects. Thank you!
Educational gold as always! Thank you Matthew 🤟
As always, very useful technique; and thank you very much! Please keep it up!
Hell yeah, this was awesome. Thank you for posting this!
You can also use the light reflection of a gel to get a similar effect. 4x4 CTB works great.
Thanks for the resourcefulness you teach us, master.
Epic. Straight to the point.
Glad you are back!
I love this! Thank you so much for sharing this. Keep the tips coming:)
Keep going out of the box, so awesome
thank you for sharing this great technique
Simple and useful. Thank you.
Mind. Blown.
From the title, I thought this would be about using frosted translucent mylar for diffusion, so the "slivered" mylar effect was totally unexpected! I wonder if you could get a more "light reflecting off a pool of water" effect if the strips were strung more-or-less horizontally between two rods, somewhat loosely, then the fan blowing lightly on the strips, and lights aimed down into the strips, bouncing up?
Greaatest cinematography channel in utube by far babe
more than useful, am gonna use this to create a caustic effect

This effect was similar in Blade Runner , except they used water. They bounced the light off a water bowel.
This will be usefull.
We used a mylar technique on the backgrounds in "Ghost"
What does the sound crew say about it? But thanks!

Why you do not create a paid training series for lighting, your work is very awesome, we want to see more, do you know what we like in your tutorials that you do not use expensive gear
