Thank you so much for all of your contents, I learned so much about the complexity of cinematography specialy about lighting. I'm so fortunate to discover this channel!
An array of ParCans was used above the grand table meeting scene in the James Bond movie "Spectre". If you look closely, the filaments of the lights can be seen reflected in the polished wood surface. Tottally under-rated light.
You are Legend Mr. Rosen Really inspired Me and I learned So Much from your channel & thanks a lot for contributing to Art in this era nobody wants to reveal their secrets because they think that they own it but you just give it like gifts for young filmmakers like me. :) :)
Fantastic content. I was looking into those lights and found out that there are hardly any par38 bulbs with a CRI rating above 90. Most of them are somewhat above 80 which is not good enough for film making purposes. Did you use bulbs that have a CRI rating above 90? If not, how did you deal with the color rendition or were you satisfied with what you got?
Thank you very much for this. It is so so amazing. Please can you help me with the links or online stores where i an get the Power 38 houses? I found the lights/bulbs already. Getting ready to buy too! Just need the houses
This channel is 100% practical information presented with zero bullsh*t. Perfect.
most underrated channel for cinematographer!
So true!
And, by far, one of the best
Just discovered today, 20211003, and I've gotten so much from each of the six or so videos I've watched so far. Gonna be binging for sure!

Did you look for tungsten or LED par38's? It's usually the LED ones that are kinda bad
Before buying my lights from aputure I used these:
creebulb.com/120-watt-replacement-par38-bright-white-flood-gen4
You are the best channel in regards to this stuff.
Great channel, great videos, thank you. For the Par38s, how much / did you diffuse them? I would be concerned about them being too spotty.
Brilliant stuff Matthew
I love your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Sir thank u so much for this knowledge..
Sir please keep posting this type of post...
These must be really useful and probably don't get as hot as film lights

Wow!
Thank you so much for this video. I was just about to sell one of my kidneys to buy a fancy Apurture light.
wow
Here I come, Home Depot!
isnt this more costly? coz u have to fill up the whole space with those spot lights?
Why is the speed is so open in your movie, too much blur.
Pretty sure thats an artistic choice. Movie looks like it couldve playef well in black and whire. Soft edges remind me of early hollywood
I agree with PopcornShrimp.
Remember that Matthew is the cinematographer, not the director or producer.
