- Ingredients:
Custard: -
500ml double cream/heavy whipping cream,
60g castor sugar,
4 egg yolks + 1 whole egg (5 eggs in total),
2tsp vanilla
Caramelised sugar:
125g castor sugar,
5tbsp water
Preheat your oven to 160c fan/180c gas for 20 minutes and bake for 30-40 mins.

On the other hand. The sugar on top is super cringe. I would never add this because it's a completely different texture from the main part and can fuck up your teeth/gums in at least 2 ways 😫
You're not supposed to chew it like toffee.. crumble it up it shouldn't stick to your teef if you're just eating it like hard rock candy.
