- Before monsoon comes to an end we decided to take the Skoda Slavia out on a roadtrip and explore some explored territory in a sedan that can seemingly do it all.

But build quality?
The car is well designed product. But the quality is cheap not justifying the the segment. Cheap plastics creaking noise, noisy suspension, poor quality camera, malfunctioning AC, power window. Not the VW group cars we knew. These look like first copy ideas, no remote control and one touch feature for windows, the smooth gear shift, noiseless cabin.
Cherry on top is poor service accessibility to remote location, and bad luck can be an arrogant near by dealership
you say quality is cheap.. well then for hyundai or maruti,. it's just tin then.. i own slavia 1.5 dsg.. i never had creaking noise or noisy suspension issues.. nor ac problems.. driver power window is one touch.. and handling and comfort for driver is best in category.. also the service center everyone was helpful and can be reached well.. i know they can't give octavia features in this category.. but driving and handling is best in category.. also mileage is also good i get around 18-20 on highways even in high speeds with 2 cylinder deactivation technology..

Have you owned a VW car is past years ? Be polo or Audi or superb?
Do you remember that vento/rapid were priced 15-16 lakh and last polo was 10lakhs?
Driver OneTouch is present even in i10 nios not a big deal at all. Almost every car in entry level market has it.
Earlier VW cars had all windows one touch up n down, you can open n close windows with keyfob too. The precision the gear shift old VW cars you've never experienced.
Mileage? Come to my venue diesel. It will throw 18-19 easily in city driving no need to be light on pedal.! All 4 cylinder running.
@@satyanarayanmohapatra148 well it's 4 months .. drove around 3800 km .. overall mileage both city and highway is 15.8 and last trip was 265(40 km city traffic) km long got 19.9 on mid and 20.5 tank to tank.. i drove at around 80-90 but had constant overtakes and many times i drove around 110-120 on empty roads and expressway too.. my mamaji owns vw since 18 years.. he has bought 5 cars till now 4 vw's and my friend has a polo since 8 years and still no problems ..
