I agree with Alan, I could listen to MISA alone for the entire songs. Jeez, there are not a lot of bass players that can do that and keep you completely entertained throughout a song.
Miku’s harmonies have always impressed me. As you said, it’s not just pleasant sounding natural 3rds and 5ths. They are often dissonant which can be very hard to hit accurately.
6.30 - 40-ish mark.... talking about leads on this album. Of all the reactions I have watched for "Forbidden Tale", not once have I heard a complaint about the lack of a guitar solo in the song. As for you guys, "The Gaijin Guys", this format of reaction/ analysis seams to be the perfect medium for the channel. You all have individual channels with its' own character (I'm a sub to all 4 of you guys), and for me. it is really cool to see all of your individual reactions..... and what's even cooler is seeing the "Gaijin Guys" come together and break-down of a song - knowing that MOST of you guy's have heard the song - before hand - and the giving a practical, theoretical, studio, experienced analysis ...... just like this song. Now just do this with rest of Band-Maids catalogue..... Lol. Food for thought. Love the podcasts
I've only seen one reactor complain. 2 GEN REACTIONS. said he was "disappointed" that there was no guitar solo. He spent the second half of the song trying to predict when the solo was going to start. He still liked the song, though.
Isolating the tracks is something I wish more people would do - it's so informative as to what's going on within the song when you can't possibly pick up on all of it when hearing everything at once (either due to brain overload or the mix itself). I loved this song on first listen and still didn't know just how ridiculously busy Misa's bass line is.
There is a saying in France : "Les cons, ça ose tout, c'est même à ça qu'on les reconnaît" ("Idiots dare anything, that's even how we recognize them"). It fits perfectly the two dudes you are speaking about...
They performed every song in epic narratives in yesterday's Osaka show, I simply can't wait to experience these songs in person.

All this while playing not so simple rythm guitar with Kanami...It is even more impressive.

I went to Osaka live show. It was exciting. Moe Moe !

That song is a fucking bona-fide banger! I would love to see them open a show with that song. Pure fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks
Thank you so much!
11:54 - This IS a "Heavy 'BASS' Progressive Metal Band" here. Just one of the reasons we love them so much!
Nice reaction guys - separating the tracks is a great way to hear what Kanami is doing as she weaves she magic,
I consumed Epic like steak and lobster. I'm ready for their next album. Once every quarter seems about right, right?Thxs, G-Guys!🤘😉🎀
Everyone ganging up on Ryan for word pronounciation is almost as awesome as this song 🤣😁🤣
This song kicks so much ass. The main riff gives me "Cowboys From Hell" vibes. 🤘
It's crazy when you hear this music and realize that some reactors out there refer to Kanami's playing as amateurish and non-technical.

Litmus.
Kanami: Akaneee! Dogezaaa! You're late for the end of the song again :)
Miku just needs to learn metal screaming. (Kidding, she's amazing how she is)
Another great song. Thanks guys
C of M looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi!
It's all 👍 good!
Not sure if you guys saw, but Doug Helvering just did a 2fer feature on Band Maid. First time. He has 400+ subs and seemed quite excited.
