Hi sll cant beilieve i missed th zepp shows.
W8 until u see the live one 😊😊
Sorry guys if I'll write in italian cause my english is too poor to explain what I want to say. You can use google tramslate, anyway...
I love you guys❤ Greetings from Florence, Italy
a letter worth reading again !
Regarding voice acting: she has perfectly mimicked machine voice (like from mailbox or automated hotlines where you press buttons) on her radio show before
Dih is high quality and the singer is off the charts
Great reactions, thank you. Actually, Girl's Talk was released between Otaku (early 2024) and Metamorphosis, but was not included on the EP released Dec. 4th.
🤘🇺🇦❤️ Hanabie 🥶🌸
In 2025, Hanabie will go on a joint tour of the USA and Canada with Kim Dracula and Crystal Lake. 25 cities.
Yep, I'll be seeing them in Denver. 🎉
Wakazaemon has been a studio musician for years and basically always has been a hired gun. She even plays live in Marty Friedmans band and has been for years. Her joining East Of Eden was an anomaly. She recorded with Koiai and played for them live, but that doesn't mean she is joining them. That said, I would love to see her play more with Kanade Sato. As far as Rolling Quartz goes, my biggest issue with them is that it always looked in their videos that they cared more about the looks than the actual music. They look/act like Pop musicians, not rock musicians. I heard they are good live though and from the little footage I have seen I agree, but the music videos and behind the scene stuff always looked to me like a K-Pop band playing rock instruments constantly looking into the camera so that it doesn't even look like they are actually playing. I will check out their newest track though, because while I can not say I am a huge fan of what I have heard before, I have always thought the growth of their band is a very good thing for both Korean Rock scene as for Japanese Rock and Japanese Pop in the West. The more people are used to the idea of listening to bands from outside English speaking countries, the better. I honestly believe that both Japanese pop/rock and Korean pop/rock can change that idea, there are also a couple of Chinese bands that I have seen pass by as well, so who knows. As far as Korean rock bands go, I have always prefered DIH who unfortunately had to quit/split because of money issues. A couple of other very good Korean rock (punk) bands include "Rumkicks" and "Drinking Boys And Girls Choir" who are labelmates of Otoboke Beaver.
La teoría de que ado es una del grupo de Phantom sita 🤯, es Genial!! Aunque ado es especial.
Hettsu Hettsu Hettsu!
@@DavidMISAMISAMISACook It's all about that bass ('bout that bass)! Am I right, or am I right?🔥🤘
@@atlasisshrugging "no treble"
I'm not one who usually comments on fashion. But gawd damn, those were some sick kimonos that they were wearing!
It's bassist Hetsu who comes up with it, she's a fashion designer by education, and either makes the costumes herself or her friends are fashion designers.
Champ's assumptions were correct about the backlash that the Beatles got, especially when the band was starting to rise & gain more fame, from their meager beginnings as a local pub band. The older generations did not like them, first starting with the haters in the UK & then also in the US & other parts. These people were even picketing. They preferred music genres from their own era & rock music was stirring things up. Being that Rock music was still new back then, originating in the late 1940s & earlier, it was considered rebellious & devil music (which I guess still applies today, heh), even earlier during the time of Elvis in the 1950's, where parents were concerned for their teens fangirling over Elvis when he shook his pelvis, i.e. Elvis Pelvis. The Beatles were also often associated with the hippies, beatniks & counter-culture movement of the 50's & 60's, which was a movement that also appalled many people. When the Beatles started growing their hair out by the early 1960s, called the moptop hair style, this also offended people who traditionally wanted men & boys to look neatly groomed. So the hate stemmed from the more traditional older generations & from competing fans of other rock bands of the time, something we still see today as new music artists continue to crop up & get their own group of haters, time & time again. Even if you have only 2 fans but you still have 1 hater, or if you have over 100 millions fans (like BTS, for example, the biggest band in the world these past few years & also coming up soon), yet you still have 1 hater, that is 1 hater too much in both situations (BTS has tons of haters themselves due to jealousy & xenophobia). To paraphrase an old saying from 6 centuries ago, "You can't please everyone". I grew up listening to the Beatles early on due to my parents as fans & I have since inherited the Beatles vinyl albums from my Dad (RIP). 12/15/24
Champs friend had to have seen them with Jinjer. Jinjer is my favorite band followed by Hanabie. Jinjer fans gave universal praise to Hanabie. For those that do not know Jinjer is an extreme, djenty, progressive band. Hanabie crosses borders.
I have the everything VIP ticket for Toronto for Rolling Quartz. Looking forward to meeting them again and seeing a full concert. Hoping to see Bridear next summer too. I also have Ado tickets.
Dude, I'm one of those nasty dudes touching Mayu. 😉
To think how young they still are too. Yukina 25, Hettsu, Matsuri, and Chika 24. Though Hettsu & Matsuri are turning 25 in about 10 days. 🎉🥳
Wakazaemon has a big tour coming up with Marty Friedman
Agreed that Hanabie. have incredibly wide appeal. From old geezer metalheads like me to "kids these days." Matsuri is a genius of a composer/arranger. Her edge-of-chaos arrangements are unreal. A lesser composer could try mixing in all those change-ups, tempo shifts, instrumentation, and more...and it would all dissolve into an unlistenable mess. Matsuri's land every single time.
Matsuri is very smart. She not only writes music, she reads a lot of articles and studies, for example, the influence of bpm on the human psyche and other similar topics. Her playing style is also interesting, she does not like shredding, but prefers chugging and breakdowns
@@Olkam-w5u Her cerebral approach really pays off...and unlike some musicians with a similar psyche, it never results in music that's dry or clinica;. Hanabie.'s songs are filled with emotion. I also love her guitar style. She's a superlative rhythm player, a grossly underappreciated art. I love a shreddy lead as much as anyone (working musician here...prog and fusion guitarist), but it's the rhythm playing that makes or breaks a rock song and drives the band's sound. Malcom Young, for example. Or look at Eddie van Halen. Famous for his shredding, perhaps, but he was an insanely good rhythm player. I think Matsuri will come to be recognized as an elite-tier player.
@@DavidKAnderson -YG: So, what is your particular style of guitar playing? -Matsuri: Since I play only one guitar, if I play too many detailed parts like lead playing, it sounds too dull live, so I consider the ratio of backing and single-note detailed phrases very carefully. I sometimes overlap them a little in sync, but it depends on the song. Basically, I play about 60 to 70% backing and 30 to 40% single-note phrases. -YG: I see! So, the so-called "metalcore-like" single-note riffs are also based on your golden ratio? -Matsuri: Yes, that's right. And for the chorus, I just played the chords to make it easier for me to sing. When the shouts were featured heavily and the bass guitar was following the root note, I would weave in phrases on the guitar side. I decide on the guitar part while keeping an eye on the balance of what the other instruments and the song are doing.
Matsuri is really creative too. She doesn't seem to care too much about "rules" of a genre. Sure Hanabie are a metalcore band, but that doesn't restrict their music. Like in this song there's even a disco beat grinding away under those riffs.
@@EvilRobotSteve the rules of the genre have already exhausted themselves, so she is right to break the mold
I've read an interview with Rolling Quartz's manager Han where he said they could for sure go heavier and have the talent to do it, but are aiming for a sound that can still have crossover appeal in a K-pop-saturated market. They are doing super-impressive tours for a young band operating out of a tiny basement studio in Seoul. I'm a huge RQ fan (seen them live once and already have tix for two shows next year) but they are far from the only Korean rock band worth checking out. Ryan knows, I've requested a few on livestreams. For example: Walking After U, Touched, Kardi, Yudabinband (YdBB), Guckkasten, Danggisio, Vincit, DIH (currently on hiatus), Jaurim, SynSnake, Audios Audio, Messgram. K-rock often emphasizes skilled vocals, groove and melody more than sheer heaviness and breakdowns, which is right in my wheelhouse.
Walking After U just put out a great cover of The Cranberries - Zombie
Not to mention thrash metal bands like Hammering and Crash!
And RQ can definitely go heavy. They have done live covers of Accept's "Metal Heart" and Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls".

🤘🤘
She did kick someone's phone out of their hand BUT the guy was being a creep and trying to take video up her shorts.
Thank you for the video, it's impossible to keep track of all these bands. I really appreciate you guys!
Junna was totally overplaying in Trident. Hagane proves they can match her intensity. This new song seemed tailor made for Junna and also has some of the best guitar solos I've heard in years.
I agree. I love Trident but Junna is better suited to the faster speed metal feel that Hagane provides. I think that Nagisa is a great fit for Trident.
I tried scanning through to find out what they had to say about Hagane but gave up. Wish they did timestamps. They're new song is amazing and love the direction. It's like the whole band is "Junna level" talent.
@@nailingjellotoawall Hagane stuff starts at 32:00
A very creative band, easily my favorite song from HANABIE.!
The GG guys seem to have underestimated the amount of content from Phantom Siita. They have released 6 MVs in the last five months and have an EP out right now with 7 songs. Just to show how big they are already; they have a world tour scheduled including six dates in the US, one in Canada, and a bunch in Europe. That's not bad for a group that has only been around for five months.
Sometime within the last year Yukina figured out how to project and put power behind her harsh vocals. If you even check out Hanabie's interview on Roomic she has to pretty much eat the mic to get her harsh vocals heard. Compare that to what she did in the interview shown here it's pretty apparent. With Roomic if she could actually project like she can now she would have just used the lapel mic instead of bringing in a dedicated one. Emily used a lapel mic when doing interviews and demos with Japanese harsh vocalist coaches so I would Yukina would have used one if she was able.
Alao the production of the video from costume design, cinematography and choreagraphy is stellar. For me it makes me hear the song dfferently.
Shout out to the band for requesting more reactions from Alan.
“Doesn’t follow any kind of norms, and maybe that’s what people are liking” I like the contrast they add, between the different vocals, the distinct changes in the music within the song, and just having something cute get balanced with something different, all of which keeps things from feeling monotonous. My interest is then maintained, and I think this explains part of what I’m liking from it. This degree of variation isn’t really the norm either, which can then help them stand out more.
I agree, this is one of their best songs. Great production. Cool riffs. Changing up the vocals to keep it interesting. Hanabie doing Hanabie, basically. Y'all need to react to the new Hagane, Start Our Journey. They threw down the gauntlet with that one. It is in contention for song of the year with KOIAI's A New Picture and Nek!'s Get Over, in my opinion.
load of shit
This band just keeps getting better 🤘
😊2nd this. 🖖❤
omg!! You interviewd them!! Thanks!
LOL Champ... those are some thic drums! Sae was a good drummer but there was an obvious personality clash. Chika's personality seems to click with the band, so hopefully they're done looking for a permeant drummer. We Love Sweets was always my go to for introducing Hanabie to people but I think this is going to be the new go to song!
Me, seeing the title: the fcq you are! Didn't you learn not to mix red with white wine? (an hour and something later... this amazing song is gonna be your doom) 🤣
🤟
Is the vocalist leading?
The Japanese are very good at Horror!!
I loved her in the Daisuka Kurosawa Project X Japan covers. Just don't leer at her. She is a beautiful lady, plays left-handed. Unusual in Japan.
A trashy idea . BabyMetal sold out to commercial-ness when Yui left. And there is something fishy and something wrong about Yui getting pushed out of the picture. Something suspicious about the Amuse Corporation and its secretiveness re Yui. In any case,it is simplistic to the point of infantility to think that mixing all good things together would be a grand idea! ..Would you mix all the colours in your paintbox because you like each of them indivisually ? You;d get the muddy mess you'd deserve. Leave what's left of Babymetal in Vegas where it belongs.
It's pretty clear that she doesn’t quite fit in with East of Eden and has left the group. She seems to be enjoying herself more while working with Lisa X. Marty Friedman also seems to admire her bass-playing skills, which is awesome.🤘
As of yesterday Wakazaemon has officially "Withdrawn" from East Of Eden, presumably to concentrate on KOIAI. They have some new live dates coming up so plenty to rehearse- She was reading from a tablet in their first live Blu-ray.
That's dark af. I love it.
