I gotta say this 73 Camaro is growing on me that sound coming out of those exhaust pipes is like music sounds like a really nice cam tuned up just right ..as always great job to the crew at Maple Motors for saving these beautiful classics!!!!
With fuel injection, when you press the gas pedal, you're literally just opening an air flap. It doesn't shoot more gas into the intake like a carburetor does. This setup just needs a bit of tuning and she'll start up in a sec every time. Awesome Z car!
Real nice, I had a 73" Z 28. Was black w/ red stripes when my stepdad got it. Was red w/black stripes went I got it from him. Liked it better black.Had a muncie 4-speed and 411 rear end. That might be mine. you never know!
This car is kind of a restomod, but odd trivia just for reference... A 1973 Z28 when ordered new WITH Type LT OPTION actually did NOT say Z28 anywhere on the car!!! The correct fender emblems for this car would say "Camaro 350", just like a standard Camaro. Many will doubt this, but check out a test of the 1973 Camaro Z28 when new in Road & Track magazine. The test car is a Z28/Type LT/Rally Sport. It has the Z28 wheels, but no other Z28 markings on it at all! Most people added the emblems, so it's hard to find one still presented correctly. Z28 status is verified by the letter T in the VIN. It indicates the specific 350 engine that is mutually exclusive to the Z28. This applies to 1973 only.
@@darrenbrown896 There certainly is such a thing. I can't tell if this is a true Z28. Again, if it is, the emblems don't belong on it being a Type LT. This is only the case for 1973. Z28 status would be verified by having a "T" in the VIN for the engine code.
Nice fun driver Z car. Great presentation. Good job. I hate the time changes too but since November 6 we're on standard time. I'd like to stay on savings time.
I really love this car. After decoding the Fender Tag and VIN, it is a real Z28/LT...It looks like it was Originally Dark Red with no stripes, but the vinyl top is correct. I am assuming the motor is not matching numbers (not many made it through their lead footed original owners). I'm curious as to why it hasn't sold.....the rust does not look overwhelming and there are clearly some leaks under it that need to get looked into but over all it looks like a pretty solid little hot rod. Have you gotten any feedback from those that have looked at it?
Cool that it's a real Z, but not painting it back the original color kinda defeats putting it back towards original z car without spending a shitload of money.
Cool car wow absolutly powerfull 😎 😊 thanks Nick stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟 😊 burns rubber wow, jeb Stuart kind of horse, i Mean car 🤟 thanks Nick stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟
If Nick is selling this car for $31k, that means he bought it cheaper than that which frankly blows my mind. I don't know where you continually find these affordable classics.
Nick I might have to save up some more money but if you have the deal you got now later on I would buy both this Camero and that 2005 GMC truck. That has got to be one of the best paired combos I've seen on here. If you could park them side by side and post a picture please. ❤️ Love Maple Motor's, Tony
What is with people building great cars with no a/c. I live in mississippi where the summers are hot and humid and this camero would cook you lol. Would have to add ac to it. But other than that it's a great car.
I almost cried too because i was ready to pull the trigger and get this one. That was until you pointed out all the rust around the back window under the top. That's all those tops are good for is trapping water underneath and rusting a car. Not to mention they look much better without the roof covers on them. I can deal with any mechanical issues but i refuse to buy a car with rust bubbling up like that. It's a true shame.
All of the under carriage shots always look like there’s a leak of some kind..which I’m pretty sure is just the camera picking up the light reflecting on the metal.

So is this actually a Z28 and Type LT COMBO?? I've never heard or seen one. I actually thought he was crazy.

And I don't believe anyone would ever bother trying to 'fake' a Type LT!

I own a Gen 2 Z28 … B&M Quick Silver with 350 4 bolt, Cam and Headers…. Fun to drive for sure.
I really want this car I’m so tempted to try and get pre approval
Noce! Reminds me of my 76 i had in HS, mine was so rusty the trunk had holes in it. But had 400 watt krako speakers 😂
The slow motion under the car had a nice beat.🤔
Nice car but $30,000 USD that's a little steep for that one,
Great looking Z 👍👍👍👍
Thank you

I think the same thing all the time!

He said they buy them and mark them up three grand and sell em,all of em
Just about to say that too

A black car will get dirty at the car wash. Lol
LT and Z28 humm must be a clone of a Z28
Looked a little wet underneath near the rear 🤔. Let me know, im looking at purchasing this one. Thanks
Hey nick I didn’t see ya at SEMA , might have missed ya but your camera seems to be flickering , don’t know what that is ?😎👍🏻🇺🇸🦅
I didn’t go out to sema this year, maybe next tho
One of my auto mechanics class high school pals had a '73 Z-28!! 👍

Smoked like a dump truck when he revved it up!
It's funny, that drive over made me duck! Lol...
Type Lt Z28 that doesn’t exists it’s either a type Lt or a Z28 not both.
Dang it! I want this one!
Nice old Camaro
I have a 87
Should start right up without touching the gas pedal if the fuel injection is working right.
30k seems a little high...wait, the horn works? Totally worth the price 😜
Z28 definitely brings over 30k in this condition. Thanks for watching
