Guns are not an issue like I said and I do believe airsoft has always been that way with the coping. It must be an American thing! Glocks in real life, tend to not have threaded barrels. The European consignments don't come with threaded barrels for some reason.
I love the Umarex Glocks. Everyone shits on VFC but when it comes to finish and wear the newer VFC Glocks top everything else. I have the VFC gen5 G17, G19X and also a Marui G19(tried out WE glocks but returned them - awful quality control). The Marui obviously is the better performer and cycles like mad with the plastic slide but the VFC Glocks aren't far behind. Imho they also have the best polymer frames feeling closest to the real thing.

I actually own a real Glock 19 gen 5. Just wondering if you guys ever get slide bite with the airsoft copies. It's pretty horrendous for the real version.
Not a problem in airsoft especially because you are advised to wear gloves at all times (shots on the hand are very unpleasant) and you also don't have to hold the gun as firmly as a real one. When Mike says it kicks like a mule it's still nothing compared to a real one. I have a KWC CO2 full auto Desert Eagle, that one you have to hold on to as if your life depended on it but only in full auto. Other airsoft guns not so much. If you are asking this question because you want to try the game, then yes, absolutely do it, if you already know how to shoot real guns you will instantly be a pro airsofter, well... at least in the gun handling part, you would still have to learn a lot of other stuff.

I have the exact same gun and the barrel rattles and moves back and forth, especially when the slide ia blocked. Is that normal or should i send it back? It shoots great as far as i know, its only that rattle sound that bugs me off the moving barrel.

Case in point, Novritsch has sent free samples of his pistol to other UA-camrs, some half the size of Mike's channel and one or two bigger. Scrim airsoft is where you'll find that. But I think Mike has more of a preference to glocks than hicapas, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't give it a go, the ssp-1 is a great pistol and it'd be good to hear Mike's view on it.

It’s a floating barrel so it’s going to rattle the real glock rattles even worse than the air soft one does anwyho
