    I have the same tankguards, engine guards and engine plate from Hepco and Becker. They're looking really good in black too on the tri colore verion.. :)

    Very good but you don’t have to use the spacers when mounting on the plate of the engine guard, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. That’s the reason you find the bolt still too short.

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  11 місяців тому +1

      They say : Spacers are not required when mounting with the engine guard, correct. Still I find them usefull due to the fact that they provide wider protection when with 1cm more. I'll check it out and ask one more time when reinstalling everything it's scratched from the crash on the left. Thanks for the comment, greetings!

      The spacers aren't necessary when installing the tank guard after the engine guard, as the manual instructs. In theory, adding the spaces in addition to the engine guard pushes the tank guard out and creates a tiny angle in the mounting points. In practice, it's hard to tell if this creates a weaker connection of the guard to the mounting points. Best to stick to the instructions in the manual.
      Beautiful bike, and thanks for all the detailed videos! 🙂

    Great video, very well done.
    The HB are a nice choice as they do look nice, but practically due to cost ands coverage I went with the Heed's. I'm waiting for a plastic skid plate to save on weight as my bike won't see anything but pavement and logging roads.

    Thank you, very good and like! Where can I connect the fog lights? Do I have to remove the side panel?

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  Рік тому +1

      Not really, they have some attachments from Hepco-becker check them on their website

      Yes, you can use the genuine Honda connectors which are located behind the fenders, on each side. This way you will be able to use the "function" button of the bike to switch On your lights.

    Why did you replace the upper Crash bars and why did you not get all the crash protection from Hepco & Becker??? They do offer a bash plate and crash bars for the Transalp....

      @IdealBike  Рік тому +2

      When I first get the bike on May there where no aftermarket accessories available so I've purchased the Rally Pack from Honda and the OEM crash bars. Some parts had delayed delivery so when the crash Bar arrived I've decided to take the Hepco-becker one, the rest of the accessories where already installed on the bike. I've compared the two crash bars and Hepco-becker seems much better than OEM.
