The undersize flounder and rat redfish are all on the causeway right now. But we wore out the green trout this past weekend. I can’t wait till we get on the fish together
Not sure if you're doing charters El Capitan up in Bama, but you ought to! Great channel for enjoyment as well as informative insight for skinny and deep water fishing.
Your videos are much more informative and interesting to watch. You tend to not be part of a crowd doing the same thing over and over in their videos rewording titles to try and draw interest. Straight up and doing different things is why your success rates and follower numbers are much higher then theirs.
From Diamondhead Mississippi, we love your show ! ! They are starting to come inshore, even with this late hot summer. Now we can fish from the yard instead of spending beaucoup dollars on fuel to go get them. Enjoy this wonderful weather !
Well Steven,,, You Did It Again ! Another Awesome Day Of Fishing ! A Bunch Of Great Action !!! Thanks For Sharing Your Tips And Techniques,,, I Know A Lot Of People Really Appreciate That You Take The Time To Show These Things To Your Viewers !!!
I am glad to see the flounder conservation efforts finally paying off! There's a reason for the seasons and size limits so many don't like, but it's insuring a healthy fishery and population for years to come. The State of Alabama has a really good flounder conservation program. The Future seems bright for some epic flounder fishing! Great video as always!
My best Flounder was by accident. My son got snagged in the mangrove. We went up to get his bait out of the branch. I brought in my live mullet and just let it hang there while we worked on his bait. BAM! My rod doubled over and I went home with a keeper. Indian River, in Florida. Good times.
Great video Sir. I just got in from a trip to Ocean Isle here in NC. Didn't get skunked, but it was definitely a hard trip. Seems as though really, everyone was having a hard time catching anything. Here in NC, we only get 15 days to catch 1 fish a day. Too much politics involved in it here with the fisheries. Anyway, always a pleasure to see you out catching.
Hi there Steve it's just unbelievable how you can snoop out the big ones...❤ Flounder is my favorite...we used to have flounder stuffed with crab in NOLA.
the redfish are stacked up right now in the bayous I took a trip yesterday in my boat and landed like 8 redfish in a single trip my dad tagged along and caught an inshore slam all were undersize fish but I wanted to do catch n release since I planned on not keep fish good video!!
Simply have to ask the obvious question… You are the absolute best UA-camr around here; how come you never cross paths with that gang of other UA-camrs? Just sayin’…. Thanx for the professional content!
@7:28 you keep catching under 14 inch flounders, may be you need to move 14 inches to your right.....lol! Love your video's always. So please tell us when registration for "Bama Saltwater Fishing" winter semester for "How to Catch Saltwater fish with artificial lures" begins so we can register.
I have a question to anybody please. Do you need to keep adding the pro-cure before each cast or how long does it work for before adding more ? Never done lure before
I wouldn't after every cast! I usually do it when I notice I'm not getting a bite in a while and usually after I catch a fish! It's really oily and soaks into the lures well
@@BamaSaltwater Thank you so much ! I love and enjoy your content! Love watching your videos i learn alot so thank you ! Best wishes stay safe and wish you a good haul !
Is there any kind of fish that is good to troll for in the fall early winter? I know soon I hope to get down and get on a school of white trout for a cookout one day. I love catching some and cooking them fresh.
Hey let me tell you about a red snapper fishing trip this summer, I caught nothing but at the bitter end I caught a 50lb grouper, everybody was like: I'll trade you 2 giant red snappers and 10 vermillions for that grouper, grouper here in east Texas tastes like butter, now I bought 1 ticket for every Saturday of red snapper Texas season, that grouper was tasty as hell, moral of the story, I wasn't working so it was a great day even if I didnt catch much.
Could you please tell me what's the name of that tackle tray that you have your jig heads and z-man baites in? I've searched high and low for exactly that but can't find it in that configuration.
We don't fish for the fish. 90% of what I like about this sport, and it is a sport, is sittin' in the boat for 5 hours doin' nuthin'. And the icing on the cake is when God smiles on you and you hook one. And when you're reeling it in, everything else falls away-hank hill
There was only one flounder on the first spot! You just kept catching him because he knew you would toss him back! Actually, where are the keepers hiding?
Hey I'm new to Southern saltwater fishing and I want to know some of the best gear and baits to catch sharks if you have any suggestions please let me know
It all depends on where you are fishing and what type of vessel or land you are on! Best advice is go to your most local tackle shop and ask for advice for the area!!
Nothing better thank watching bama after a long day
Fishing with him would be better….
Steve- I'm happy to see your channel grow. You deserve it. Best fishing channel on UA-cam. Period...
I agree!
Thanks David!! I appreciate the kind words! I just really love fishing and thoroughly enjoy sharing the sport with everyone.
You are welcome. Hopefully the UA-cam algorithm will key in and spread the love...@@BamaSaltwater

Hello from San Diego California USA 🇺🇸
Howdy SanDiego, Camarillo Ca here.😅
Thanks for watching ---> From South Alabama!
They do have that pro-cure at local J&M tackle for around 7 bucks. Good stuff and it works.

Hi I love watching your videos and I was the first one I commented at 20 seconds l
Should’ve been fishing with a cigar this week bud😂 Roll tide
What’s that last spot? I see the dauphin island bridge in the background but it looks a little far to be the grass flats by it

Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and also White trout like you mentioned! They school up good in the cooler months!
Striped bass love lizard fish up here in NJ. We fish them live like bunker aka pogie.

Haha, sometimes it's just like that. Grouper are definitely some extremely fine eating !!!
Hey man. Do you ever take guys out on the boat?
Can you do some more trolling and tuna videos please 🙏
Where you get the shrimp lures at?
Could you please tell me what's the name of that tackle tray that you have your jig heads and z-man baites in? I've searched high and low for exactly that but can't find it in that configuration.
It's a Buzbe Colony 28 box ! buzbe.com/collections/all-products They're pricey but keep my hooks rust free
Is that bullet weight apart of the hook, or did you manage to tie a uni knot above it to be a weight stopper?
Ah! Okay, I see the rig that holds the bullet weight. That's awesome!
It's part of the pre purchased jig head!
@@joelmitchell4289
How did you smash your finger? Did a big flounder smack it?
Actually, a big ole jack crevalle haha!!
Puppies are great
First trip with the new boat coming up next weekend!
Your voice sounds like the old man from family guy. I can’t stop hearing it now lol.
Can you use lizardfish as bait?
You can, I never do, I usually just turn em back. Too slippery for me hahah
Hey Stephen, what video editor do you use?
iMovie or Final Cut Pro.... I prefer to keep the videos simple and easy to follow! Thanks
Bait thief.😂 That’s too funny. We’ve all been there!
You should go flounder gigging
Might not keep but makes for good practice.
First to view this video, its excellent

No keepers, but you got stinky fingers. Best wishes 😊

He's very right haha! I love that part in King of the Hill
So, fish are referred to as “jokers” in that peculiar area….that’s genius.
First and. Are you gonna respond fishing king
There was only one flounder on the first spot! You just kept catching him because he knew you would toss him back! Actually, where are the keepers hiding?
Haha definitely lol. Lots of small fish hang with other small fish!
