I've never been good at making friends (adult or as a kid) so videos like this make me feel like I have friends, even if it's just looking in the window at someone else. Thanks. for making them.
Trie this for sashimi… Blend with a little water in a blender: - juice of 3 passion fruits - 1 tbs honey - 1 tbs olive oil - 1 tbs lime juice - 1 ts mustard - salt & pepper Pour the mixture over any fine sashimi fish with some fine onions and chili pepper.
Yall remind me of my best friend (of 25+ years) and I while fishing. Your chemistry together is delightful to watch. Yall have a great time, every time. Cheers from South Texas!
Best fishing content on UA-cam! Thanks for another excellent watch! So cool when those tuna were bustin water everywhere. Bama really does have some excellent fishing environment! I’ll have to make my way over from north FL to check it out.
I would love to come to back to Alabama. We fish a bit in Montana, mostly rainbows, browns and cut throats. The Big Horn River in South Central Montana is a Blue Ribbon trout destination. My guides in my family for the folks from the mid west, north east and south west. We got pre historic fish up north and in the Missouri River feeding into the Mississippi all the to the Gulf of Mexico. Recently, I met a young man that told he had lived and grew up in Mobile, Alabama on the water and fished daily. He asked if I had I enjoyed my time in Alabama. My response was what would a Montana boy not like about the people and country in Alabama. Great video I am glad I found it on UA-cam. It is like a quick vacation. Thanks guys from Montana.
im in Arkansas but blessed too have parents from the South and extended family and friends. NOTHING to me beats fishing and eating from the Gulf of Mexico! this never gets old.
Man, I love the cooking portions of your videos! That spicy tuna mix looked so good. I betcha that homemade sauce is to die for. Loved seeing you catch that delectable tasting fish too! Been enjoying the content as always, Stephen. Keep it up!
Great to see the channel with smart sponsors. They couldn’t find a more wholesome and positive way to market their best products. Bravo to you from Greece!
So glad to see you so far out there with someone...some dangerous fish out there and deep water...where is my flounder or a big red for coubion...been catching bits of other fisherman and YOU are the best by far!!
@@BamaSaltwater I really do brother. Due to work and just life I can't get out to fish as much as I like. I leave 4 hrs from Texas coast and LOVE COAST fishing. Just bring me peace watching your authentic videos. Your cooking portions are very entertaining and educational. Anyway. . Just appreciate all your work you do.
We moved here a year ago and I'm glad i found your channel. It is hard to fish these waters without experience and your experience helps get some fundamentals. Appreciate the education!

That was an awesome trip man. Thanks for sharing it with us. 8 hours out on the Gulf would kill me. I'm a 57 year old wimp! Tuna and AJ, doesn't get better than that! God is good brother!
You are quite the entertainer... I really enjoy your catch and cook video series... they give me a lot of cooking ideas, although I no longer have access to fresh caught marine fish. Thanks again and God Bless.

You're brave and slightly crazy for going 70 miles out in a glorified bathtub ( I have a 21' bay boat as well) Too far out to run from a storm. Great fishing videos. Keep um coming.
Dynamic duo! Great fishing adventure! had me on the edge of my seat watching. I could almost taste the tuna! MMmmm! Keep the videos coming you two. May God bless.
Well, my friend you continue to make me wish I lived a bit closer than 300 miles from you. I truly would love to spend a 1/2 day on the water with you. Love your clean and cook segments.
Brother, I am laughing all the way from CANADA watching you struggle to pull the AJ!!! I enjoy the fishing videos. I used to live in Pensacola, FL for 7 years and watch the blue angels air show. Thanks for the uploading these videos. God Bless...
Furthest I'm willing to go off shore in my 21' bay boat is about 15 miles! First time subscriber and viewer of your channel. Your adventures make me wish I lived down south where you have a longer fishing and boating season. Up here in the North east our fishing season and boating season is only about 5 months. Nice catch!
You went way out this trip! That Penn/Star plasma combo is awesome! That tuna was definitely a blessing 🙌 Chef, you made me go get spicy tuna sushi 🍣 ! Love your videos man!
Never forget the first time I caught a yellowfin. Was in San Salvador Bahamas to change an injector on a Detroit for a Captain buddy of mine (RIP Doug) and we fished on seatrial. A 30# hit and we had sashimi so fresh it was still twitching. Steaks on the grill and copious Kaliks that night.
I started watching your video this evening with full intentions of teasing you about playing with your dinner. @11:53 video time your dinner started playing with you until 14:21 video time. Sissy, snow flake whatever we have all heard awesome story's about Jacks stripping the line and taking for ever to land. You put it on video!!! Still dream about going fishing with you. Then you pull a fast one on me with Sashimi my favorite and spicy Tuna. 😁❤ then the big let down sandwiches really!!!!!! lol ......where's mine???
Hey Steve, just caught your latest video. Interesting those Amberjacks, we catch those rarely but it’s bigger cousin the Samson Fish (seriola hippos) is much more prevelent here and in sizes up to 30-40kgs, they sure go hard. Anyway, keep up the good work mate, tight lines.
I film a lot my self but I usually let my mother or brother film! They dont like raw fish or fish as much as me but they always have a nice heaping plate full in return :)
Wow, I don't know whether I enjoyed the fishing trip more than the kitchen, & I love getting out on the water. You are busy giving us the ultimate UA-cam experience. I sure hope that your buddy that made the spicy sauce has a shed in his backyard with a bottling plant in it cos anyone who watched this episode is also going to want his address 😂😂 Well done. I love what you do.
I’ve had a Saltist 3000 MQ for about a year. Six weeks ago I was reeling in a 30 inch snook and the handle broke off about a half inch below where the knob attaches. A Daiwa rep replaced the handle with one off of one of his demo reels. Not really sure that was such a great deal for me. As this guy said in his video, this is my only expensive reel and it has been quite babied! I was dumbfounded when the knob broke off in my hand. Thankfully, the snook was pretty much landed on the beach so at least I got the fish! I’m not sure that I’ll buy another one though.

As usual Steven another awesome video.👍 Me and the wife went out yesterday, the seas were alittle to rough so we just trolled. We have till Sunday so fingers crossed. Keep up the awesome videos and content. Stay safe and fish on!!
Steve, I spent two years in Japan while in the Marines, one in Okinawa and one in Iwakuni and have sampled a lot of their cuisine and never seen anything like what you made. It looked delicious! Also a Marine in Iwakuni was complaining of chest pain and it was thought that he was having a heart attack but it was discovered that he had a worm wrapped around his heart which was the result of eating raw tuna. How do you avoid that? I have eaten raw tuna without any problems, including raw octopus and other things when I was "over the limit" drinking beer with my Japanese friends but never had issues. Thanks for your great videos, as I look forward to them continually! Be safe!
