That bow looks fantastic I have a lot of Walnut on my property -I sold 10 trees last year big enough that two peoples arms could not go around them the gentleman that cut the trees left the tops for me some of those are 12 inches in diameter do you have to chase a ring on Walnut?
I didn't Chase a ring on that bow and it's all heart wood in the future I probably wood and I would also leave sap wood on the back and make the belly from heart wood
Yes it does it works very well most people leave the white sap wood for the back of the bow and use the heart wood for the belly. The bow in this video is all heart wood unbacked. It is capable of drawing 32 inches which is quite a lot for a 60 in self bow. Hopefully this helped
