David Goyer FUCKED UP THE WHOLE THING, He manuvered his way into direcing the film, that's what happened. Wanted a directorial debut and the whole thing went to shits.
Honestly, being an early 2000 World. I kinda understood the fear of making it that way. Nowadays a whole buncha movies already dwelled there and shown that it sets well with the audience
The best thing about trinity is that Ryan Reynolds discovered the Deadpool comics while shooting this movie. And since they reference him in the DP comics, it aspired him to become a superhero actor and even pushed for DP to happen.
It feels like Wesley Snipes was pissed because he loved the character, and he wanted a great conclusion. Though he received well..garbage, so he just refused to do it at all.

I’m finding it a common theme that some prick posing as a comedian has gripes against the lead actor of an action movie, making them look like an asshole, only to later the “comedian” is exposed as a woke libtard radical activist disconnected from reality. Case in point Harvey Oswald talking shit about Wesley snipes, but Harvey is himself a bigger piece of shit then Wesley, this is gaslighting in its finest form. Fun fact: Marvel would eventually do that pitch about the vampire apocalypse in the comics called Darkhold Blade. Amadeus Cho is a vampire on the run from Vampire King Kingpin and searching for Blade who vanished after the sun disappeared
When you were talking about how miscast the guy playing Dracula is, I kept thinking what the character needed to be was something along the lines of Viggo Mortensen as Lucifer in The Prophecy.
Damn they should make a documentary about how Blade 3 got even made as the story behind it is more interesting than the movie itself. Or better yet make a movie about the troubled production.
I read an early draft of the trinity script online; in it, Goyer basically retires Blade to make way for the new characters. Blade dies. dashing the prospect for any new sequel, effectively killing the franchise. Goyer deliberately sabotaged the whole goddamn project.

The post apocalyptic scenario would’ve worked because you can have parallels like the ugly outside world of the Wasteland and cool unique slick paradise of the vampires
The beginning bit with Blade not knowing that a familiar wearing fake fangs wasn't a real vampire was stupid because he's supposed to be able to tell the difference.
@@dcmarvelcomicfans9458 honestly, the only information I can find about Zig Zags production is that it was shot in Los Angeles, California so I don't know if the hatred started there or not
I want that apocalyptic Blade movie so bad now. Specially with Wesley Snipes at an older age now. They could have it be a really long time after the last one, where Blade is so old he's almost human, like in the original comics. You could have it close to I Am Legend, where only a very small amount of humans survived in the whole world while the rest are vampires and Blade has to help these last humans get to safety where humanity can finally grow back again. Just like Logan, but much more dark and scary. Imagine the opening scene, a few people are trying to get some food right before the sun is down. They run while something stalks and chases them in the shadows, where they try to barricade themselves behind a broken door and the vampires manage to take it down, only for them to be scared away by no other than Blade himself, and the title screen comes up. I know Blade movies used to be something very silly and over-the-top, but I honestly would like to see them nail a full on dark and serious vampire film. Just... don't piss off, Snipes lol.
Technically it was really the studio. Of course, everyone got a little bit of a blame for actually accepting to go with this movie to the end, but the studio was the main one to blame. They let someone who never made a movie before be the director, they forced him to change his script into something nobody in the crew liked, they forced them to get the movie done despite everything going on, they put up with all of the unprofessional work behind camera. Basically a "how not to do a movie" tutorial. You want a good metaphor for this? When Jessica Biel shot the arrow through the camera lens because the director told her to when he wasn't expecting her to actually hit it, whose fault was it? The director, also the actress because she still did it, but mostly who told them to do it. TL;DR, the higher ups mistakes caused a chain of even bigger mistakes, and nobody learned anything because it was just a downright bad experience.
@@radrno7 I knew Wesley Snipes wasn't at fault because he was left out of the casting decisions despite his own production company helped make this film
