Thank you for sharing your story. So happy that I have helped you love your hair and hope that confidence has spilled into many other areas of your life!
Hello Silvia!! Would it be possible for you to, maybe in the near future, consider making a video on how to properly apply colour (grey coverage touch up) on someone with babylights/ balayage in between highlighting sessions? How to apply colour without staining the highlighted pieces. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
I've been using eSalon for years now because of you. Last time i highlighted my hair with eSalon, i had several people ask me who does my hair. 😂 it turned out so great, but the tricks you show here will be so much faster! I'm ready to put highlights back in! Thank you!
I absolutely love you girl! Have been following you for at least 3 years. I'm a fellow hairdresser/CHI&Biosilk educator, but have still learned so many tips from you, so thank you thank you thank you! 😊 Your videos are awesome and as well as you just have an amazing soul! Have a great day girl! 😊😊
Thank you Sylvia - I actually cut my own bob after I saw your brave transformation which is very fitting for you. You look extremely classy and now I’m again going to check out the at home lightening system. I appreciate the tip on the roots too. Thx love!
I love the content of your vids, I think you’re the only one that I’ve seen that shares this detailed info. I think your hair looks fabulous. The color is amazing and you did a perfect job. Thanks for sharing, looking fabulous🤍🤎🤍
It’s beautiful love the hair style! Thank you for sharing with us DYIY’s at home. You’re so motivating and positive with how you take us through each step.I know I really appreciate you sharing and helping me through my hair journey at age 56 I’m all in for at home beauty care as I have a special needs son who takes most of my time( and I wouldn’t change that.) Doing my own hair and take care of me is just as important.Im learning it’s ok to give myself love and be the best me that I can be. I must stay strong for my stepson.Again thank you for being so supportive to use DIY’s
Can you please show us how you style your new cut? Like a step by step on what curling iron/flat iron that you use and then video of you actually styling it. Love the cut!!
Yes, yes yes! This video is coming next. I filmed the very first time I styled this cut myself that will be on IG reels and tikok. But I am filming a youtube styling tutorial that should be up next week!!
Thank You for sharing Silvia. I’ve enjoyed your videos for a years now. I had my hair cut back into a Lob after 2 years of no haircuts. It’s perked up so much. I’m still having fun dying my hair at home - 20+ years now. I love using different tones & shades. Thank You for sharing your education 😊💇🏼♀️🩷🇦🇺
Love the bob. Grow out will be healthier and color will be easier to manage. Really matters for color-treated hair to get a reset every once in a while
So happy you did the dark root and foils too . I have this done also but feel like my foils become dark quicker because maybe the root colour washes through ??
This is exactly what I needed! Grey to root touch up with highlights. My hair grows fairly fast and I need a root touch up every 4-6 weeks but that seems too often for highlights. Any tips on how to not totally muddy the highlights on root touch up when not ready for highlights?
I've had long hair my entire life, about 3 years ago I cut it to about my chin...that was a little too short but ever since then I keep cutting it to a little bit below my shoulders. I kept thinking this year I'm going to grow it out but now I'm scheduled on the 6th to get a cut like yours! You look younger, 2024 is my last year in my 30s and let's be honest, I want a look younger! Haha and truly I've been thinking about another chop!
Hi Silvia I think you just answered my highlight problem! + I had no idea you could get perm color and bleach on top of eachother! New one for me:) Thanks so much..really loving your new look!
I love your color tutorials!! ! Thanks for making this!! I've been thinking about trying esalon, perfect timing! And You look beautiful as always and the bob is perfect on you!
Can you tell me what base color and highlight formula that you used ? I usually use goldwell 7na and you have a similar hair color to me. Love how it came out
I still have lightener to use up and wonder what level developer would get a similar highlight color with a similar base color? Thank you for your extremely helpful content!!!
Too funny, I have been doing my hair like this for the past 20 years. I have the highlights done first then color in between. The trick is to have the color washed off first before removing the foils so that the color doesn’t mess up the highlights
I have been trying to follow your videos but its really hard for me to understand the techniques you do.. placement results ect. Im sure you have helped people but i just havnt found a video thats helped me yet.. hope to find a good indepth video from you on highlights at home .. i have virgin hair and been looking to find a video on a fresh base to work with..
Hi love your channel. I have learned a lot. So I have a question. I’ve been to three hairdressers all different in three years takes me a year to get up the gumption to go to another hairdresser. Feel like I am very specific in what I want but I can never get the outcome that I am looking for. I just went to the hairdresser today and I really loved your Bob so I told her that’s what I was growing my hair out for I wanted highlights in the nine neutral, redkin color gloss she bleached my hair and then gave me a six neutral. So now my hair is darker than it was when I showed up the cut is wonderful and I don’t understand the issue. What do I do to fix it?
What confuses me, is when I highlight my level 5 hair, want to remove orange and yellow tones, but want caramel tone, beauty rep at one of those supply store told me if using Wella, I have to tone first with T18, then T 14, then put demi over it. ugh!!!
Thanks for the tutorial Could you please share the root color please As I’m in uk I used a 7or 8 n or a. And find after a few washes it goes very warm gingery I’m trying to cover greys
checking the foils every 10 minutes after the 30 minute mark is a great way to gage your lift. inside of a banana peel color means you are ready shampoo.
I've noticed that Elle's earlier videos from when she first started her channel are a lot easier to listen to because she speaks normally in a regular cadence and pronunciation. The last three or four years she's developed this weird vocal affect with putting pauses in places they don't belong and adding this extra short "a" vowel at the beginning of all her words in the places she breaks up his speech... ex. "First when you a-section your a-hair, make a- sure you're keeping the a-parts clean.. as you can see, I'm a-leaving out some areas and putting the a-brown pieces... then process a-my highlights for thirty minutes after making sure they're a-well saturated..." This is a bizarre transformation I see with beauty vloggers over and over and over again once they develop a following and consider themselves to be "influencers" as opposed to just having a UA-cam channel. It sounds really grating and inauthentic. I find Elle way more listenable from the earlier videos, hands down.
