I always enjoy watching a losing side still produce units, move them around, try to get them into position, etc. The struggle till the end requires a very strong mentality and I like that.
this game is a very good example for how to play PvT correctly on both sides for anyone learning broodwar right now what put stork ahead seems to be mainly lots of tiny mistakes bisu did mainly involving clumping up his tanks and losing them very often, if bisu had saved the tanks from his initial push that got all the way to stork's nat while the reaver drop was happening, then regrouped for another quick attack later with reinforcements, the game could look very different
5:00 I used to think 1 gate range was how you claim to your opponent "i'm going DTs!" since you're not gonna put much pressure on, but you're DEFINITELY gonna deny a scout, with 1 gate range. unsurprised to see bisu throw up the shields with the Ebay here. 16:00 oof bisu forgetting upgrades is painful, doing a great job of delaying 5 base toss but also not getting to 2/1 on time 16:38 ow. starts 2/2 toss 5th gonna be SO much faster than +2 attack (i like this as a "point of parity," 4 base toss vs 3 base terran, terran no +2, toss no arbiter/carrier is about even, 5 base toss vs 3 base terran WITH +2, no arbiter/carrier, also about even. Bisu falling far behind the benchmark) 19: 00 so painful. just a little bit too late on +2. I think those upgrade timings are something that's difficult without the zillions of hours of playtime you get with your main race, thanks for the game RT!
This talk about slow players being viewed as smarter reminds me of my time in policy debate in high school. In that form of debate in the US, one team o two presents a plan to implement and the other team gives reasons why it should not be implemented, across 8 speeches totaling 52 minutes. Although this is more time than any other form of debate, it's never enough, and nearly all good teams speak as quickly as they can without being misunderstood. Since judges are also former debaters, they can understand rapid speech, and the result is that most top-tier teams speak at 300-400 words per minute. (And not short words, fwiw.) This is literally impossible to understand for people who aren't used to it, almost comically so. But _some_ teams or individual speakers talk much more slowly and deliberately, which is often viewed as a difficult way to debate. If you drop a crucial argument, or don't cover it well, you can lose the whole round. And it is common for there to be 8-10 separate arguments under active debate, each including 5-10 subpoints. Imagine covering that all convincingly in a 5 minute speech!
Im at the first minute but knowing how many times Bisu has played against Flash Im sure he knows what makes him hate his life and he's gonna do it all to Stork
Bisu didn't really show having the strong muscle memory for Terran. Stork was running a higher APM than him for a lot of the game, and Bisu was missing important actions like spreading his tanks. Storms wrecked him. Rule of thumb: If Stork is faster than you then he's going to win.
I mean he's just being realistic. Who is going to have more insight, someone who has played mostly the same race for 20 years, or someone who has played it for a few? Bisu's micro was great and he clearly is making far better decisions than most, but it's clear this isn't familiar territory for him. Look how long he was on 2 factory + he had questionable target priority by not targeting the natural Nexus ASAP. Obviously both are great players, it's to be expected to not hear as much praise when someone plays their off race.
Can't you duo cast some of these types of games with Tasteless? I just miss you two casting together and it being fresh, or the first one out. There's other UA-cam channels that gets the ASL out faster. So i don't ever hear you and Tasteless casting games together anymore. After listening to you guys for over 20 years i'm kind of almost sentimental about that lol. I just think it's sad that there's other UA-cam channels that gets the content out faster. So i'm being forced to watch there or i'll just get spoiled.
@@perfectman3077 It's not because of potential spoilers. The other people that cast it are not bad either. So it's just not worth the wait. For example i just watched Snow vs Speed Asl with English casters. How long until this game is cast by Tastosis? They are just getting out competed right now. It's kinda sad.
@@Stokkeland23 I know the wait is painful, but I think Tastosis is worth it. Hopefully they can work on a solution where they can at least cast the semifinals and finals live.
If i recall they had to get permission from ASL to restream an english broadcast. Im not sure if other casts are techincally sanactioned and allowed by afreeca. I csnt watch brood war unless its tasstosis personally but thats not to say other casters are bad. @Stokkeland23

😂😂"Everyone can play Protoss"

I like the part when you said "clobber" their way, referring to the protoss a-move to destroy the honeycomb siege defense. hilariously accurate.
Yeah after killing all the buffering units and the two tank clumps at the front "it's clobbering time!"
Stork played textbook Protoss
Yea, good showing from Stork with the mass shuttle strat
I think he *wrote* that book.
Or at the very least, took part in writing it.
@@CoolEtCeterait’s kinda scary when that flying swarm is accompanied by the wave of gatewaymen
Stork is definitely textbook Protoss. Nothing fancy, just solid play.

Tank spread is what separates good Terrans from great terrans.
Mind is another ASL pro that seems to have pretty low APM during multitasking moments but just makes up for it with his decision making
Bisu Terran?! This is gonna be something.

Next up: Snow beating Artosis TvT lol
Every time Artosis was looking at the terran base and talking about Bisu, my brain kept thinking he got the races/players mixed up...
IIIIIIIIIIIIII vs IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

always a fan of best pros offracing
The strong terran bias lol. Flash plays protoss "Lets see what insights he has". Bisu plays terran "Lets see how bad he is".
I mean he's just being realistic. Who is going to have more insight, someone who has played mostly the same race for 20 years, or someone who has played it for a few? its a pretty safe assumption that flash is going to be way better at playing offrace than anyone else is
Arty is also just having fun.
Am I the only Protoss main that can get higher on ladder with both terran and zerg? I swear toss is hardest to beat high level players with.
That’s because it’s the worst race
Seems like the ASL pros would agree with you, looking st the latest seasons.
Bisu was rank 1 on the Fish ladder as Zerg at one point
Been a while since I saw terran win on this channel lol
No doubt, Stork is my favorite Protoss player of all time
.....and everyone can play protoss. Lmao!!

you know after this Bisu was fuming about terran being way too hard to play
I wonder why protosses seem not to use arbiters anymore
Bisu is the only one I see using them
group d cast release waiting room
How did the Dragoon miss at 03:33?
They have 1% chance to miss.
Hm, interesting, wasn't aware that's a thing. Thanks!
It's less than 1%, it is 1/256 chance for all ranged attack to miss.
Bisu smashed against. Time to take up knitting instead.
ggs
Lol honeycomb structure of tanks
No is one good at zerg as an off race lol.
fuck this guy should play another race tbh
Bisu is cool
Hypothetical question here:
Would Bisu have achieved more or less if he kept playing Terran instead of switching to Protoss ?
More.
Less, not because Terran is weaker, but because Bisu has a unique talent for Protoss
Wooo
PROOOOOTOSSSSSSSSSSS
Flash's Protoss - STRONG. Bisu's Terran - funny show. Do you have breath cancelation plugin? I cant hear you breathing, must done it well.
I can imagine Bisu streaming while playing this and goes "ahhhhhhhhh"
Playing suicide shuttles just seems so un-pc lol
What does un-pc mean
bisu terran is just as bad as any other terran including top least bad terrans as light or flash.
1st!? uploaded 32seconds ago woot! let's go Artosis!
worst map ever since fighting spirit
Finally a Terran loss, for the Protoss needing 2x the economy to beat a Terran, shows Terran units are 200% overpowered and need to be nerfed.
