I don't find 1v 1 very interesting. I mean i get it, it shows who the better player is.. but team play is so much more interesting. I went 3-0 in ladder games and quit and went back to 3 v 3. Played probably 600 games of 3 v 3 bgh. I'd love to see some team play replays.
@@Jordan-Ramses Part of me 100% agrees with you, and the other part still understands, hopefully the 3v3 Fastest Map ever from Falcon can suffice your need for team play :)

Still have to pause it every minute to search for unknown words in the dictionary, but nevertheless watching your casts is the best way ever to learn foreign language! P.S. I just want to say that I'm glad you're casting Starcraft Remastered (looks so slick compared to the original Brood War) and Legacy of the Void games. After Adam & Jeff moved on to their podcast they left a void (total pun intended lol). Please keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep enjoying your fun casts!
In the first game, Bisu didn't have to scout the main base with the probe, he saw no drones and eggs morphing in the expansion. Low drone count means all in, so either hydra bust, mute all-in or fast lurkers. Hydra would already be shooting at the forge, if mute then there would be 3 larva waiting for a morph, so by elimination had to be lurkers, therefore tons of cannons at the front makes him safe (elevator wouldn't work either because there would be 3 corsairs at that point).
@Darkzz Lord my only point is that high variance strategies have at least some chance of working vs a significantly better player, there was only 15-ish players that even stood a chance in standard game vs FLash, Bisu or JD at their prime.
Whoa those Bisu games really left me absolutely amazed, it's like becoming aware of a whole new paradigm of adaptation, and scouting. Please make more of these compilations, including early harassment, rushes, pushes, and all-ins, dear FalconPaladin!
About "how Brood War used to look like" last year I built a retro PC with Win98 and with a 15" LCD @ 1024x768 resolution. Both Diablo 2 and Brood War look pretty sweet on it. The pixelation you get on a 1080p display really doesn't resemble anything those games looked like back in the day on hardware from that era. Kind Regards :)
@@zusurs I played both on a 10 Mbit/s LAN with guys in my block back when internet access was a luxury in Poland :) Was lucky enough that my friend's dad had a PC parts store and he made us this LAN basically at his own expense .
@FalconPaladin: You should do series like this for various types of attacks. Do 10 cannon rushes, or 10 zergling rushes, or 10 zealot rushes, or 10 hydra busts. Whatever. That'd be really instructional!

You rewound the fake to check a zealot kill count. And I know you get notifications, but it's something you probably already know by now since it was a year ago haha 😄
What determines the differences between the tiles of the main buildings for different players? I haven't seen anything like that golden-looking cc's and lava-streaked hatcheries in the game tbh.

That game which ends around 6:54... Just another example of stupidity of all those pros: instead of swarming the wall zerg could burrow lurks next to that lucky ling, so they can attack gateway and forge while being out of cannon range ;)

No they didn't. You can reduce the pixelation in the menu to make it look smooth like it used to. They didn't do anything to the old graphics it's simply because we no longer use CRT monitors which blurred the pixels nicely into one another before.
it's because they were made for CRT monitors which blended in the pixels differently. This is why playing Super Nintendo Games or games around that era on new TV's looks extra pixelated and on CRT TV's they looked smoother.

I, like most people watching this channel, have played BW for two decades, and if we want to compare old/new engine, we can just fire up the game at any time and toggle graphics till the death. The old graphics you see are totally warped. Blizzard made them a lot worse on purpose to increase the contrast.

broodwar is not an online game? ever played on ladder (there is an official map pool)
