Excellent videos you put on here,,, takes me back almost 50 years, to most Sundays working Ferrets and terriers to reduce the Rat population on the local Pig and Poultry farms,, keep up the good work, and thanks for posting for jogging the memories 👍👍👍
Yeah, that closeup was gruesome. I am happy these guys are so open about the fact that this is sports to them. This is fun and exciting, AND they do a service for the farmer and keep poison out of the ecosystem. I have met moose hunters and wolf hunters (Sweden) who almost pretend they don't like hunting bur insist that what they do is strictly necessary to maintain a good balance in the ecosystem and keep traffic accidents down and keep moose from eating the saplings in the newly planted forest and they'll come up with endless arguments for being the most heroic and misunderstood people in society. And then they post pictures of themselves, posing with game they shot. It is redicilous. Just admit that you do this because you enjoy it... It is sport, first and foremost, and it is totally OK to think that this is exciting and fun. Just like those dogs.
@@nickjohns1192 What's funnier is if vegans realize how many creatures are killed to protect their crops, whole ecosystems are demolished to grow avocados and almonds
Bedlingtons are EXCELLENT ratters. We had one and he would take off across a field like a guided missile. He'd hit a rat or rabbit so hard he'd tear them in half most times. Part in his mouth and half not moved from there it was sat. I loved that dog, I miss him.
I remember my parents had a Yorkshire Terrier and having some rabbits as a kid some rats would come and eat the rabbit food. The Yorkshire terrier would smell around the rabbit hutches every time she went out to the toilet in the hope there would be a rate to chase. It was like she was obsessed with catching rates which I guess comes from the breed being bred to catch rats.
Sehr beeindruckend. Sehr, sehr gut!
I have a part patterdale terrier, I discovered after I found out he kills rats and cats on our property here in Hawaii. He has longer legs and is larger than the purebreds. RESCUE dog, my cousin told me Koa's breed after he saw him.
Ferrets in UK but see also rescued American Mink + Rat Guy + terrier He's created quite an enterprise beyond ratting too. He'll do well when thd S H T F. Certainly safer and more food secure then most.
LOVING watching the speed of those dogs. Phenomenal ! Certainly does look like a whole lot of fun for everyone, except the pesky rats. Thankyou for your expertise Thankyou for the videos. 👌
Hello my name is Michael Russell, I have been watching series for bit & I must say that you do have my support as I have had to deal with a rat problem recently.
I used to love watching the ratters on the farms when I was a kid in the early nineties but how do you get away with it since the Hunting with Dogs Act?
Love this channel and love this group. Adore terriers as a breed and one day i hope i can have a working one myself. Question on how you dispose of the rats tho?
Thanks for this. Hardly ever. The dogs are trained not to attack the ferrets and, if the dogs get over-excited and try it, the ferrets can give them a nip on the nose. / Charlie
I love watching working dogs. The dogs looked like they had a great day.👍
My Whippet has her ears up at the sounds! She loves a hunt!

I think she has her own fan club by now.

Twinkle is so beautiful and fast! She's my favorite out of all of them! I find it hard to believe that she's a senior! ❤
My pair of jacks would love this, like a trip to disneylànd lol....

It’s brilliant to see the pigs outdoors. Respect to you guys. What is your farm? I’ll look out for the label?
It's kind of gross, but fascinating at the same time. I love the idea of not using pesticides to kill the rats.
I'm in Norfolk and I've got a jagd terrier cross Jack Russell and he's an amazing ratter hes fast and has a Keene scene of smell
Oh my God very big rat 🐀 and all dogs have fun searching on it..hehehehe amazing dogs 🐕

Brilliant way of using dogs and as saying so much better than posion

Absolutely brilliant!! That beige whippet is incredible
Her name's Twinkle and she's more greyhound and collie than whippet.

The dogs are having so much fun!
Should be a national sport.
I'd tune in every week lol
In your opinion how does the small munsterlander compare to the other dogs as working dogs for this type of work?
I appreciate your time.
I miss watching my yellow lab catching rabbits mice and squirrels. He’d be so happy when he got to catch one. Used to swallow them whole, lol!!
Good exercise for man and dogs 🐕
I your doggies could deal with other certain pests, bobbing across the English Channel....
Argh your pups are properly trained. Beautiful proper little ratting machines
Great stuff guys, fantastic dogs.
Keeping old Traditional ways alive and dogs being Dogs Love it
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻We have voles and our border collie and blue heeled/border dogs take care of them in quick order. Lol.

Love watching this when the other Ratting Channel is not available.

Great Job👍💯
Some rats mice can be quite fast, and agile says peter pettigrew
I used to love watching the ratters on the farms when I was a kid in the early nineties but how do you get away with it since the Hunting with Dogs Act?
Thanks for this. Tony Blair had a strange attitude to animals. He protected hares and mice, not rats and rabbits. / Charlie
Love Twinkle ❤
Love this channel and love this group. Adore terriers as a breed and one day i hope i can have a working one myself. Question on how you dispose of the rats tho?
Grind em up & put them in doner kebab - sold nationwide - very popular
@@outoftownr3906 That would be the crunchy kebab.
I _particularly_ like this group!
Great work.
GOOD DOGGIES! Amazing!
Environmentally friendly my butt, it's all about the action and the rush.😂😂
The shaking 🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:32 that's not a rat, it's bigger than most of those dogs, we need a new name for these things, like, maybe, megarat , or ratus prime, or Jared
this one's for YOU, Mike Kemp
The brown dog is relentless! So much for to watch.
Fantastic dogs
I was waiting for Rishi Sunak to run out of that dung heap.
1:32 I thought that was another dog he had gone for.
Size of that bastard
How do you protect your dogs from diseases?
What happens to the dogs when they retire?
Rats mice are quite athletic

Twinkle or Belle?
@@Akutheos twinkle speedy
@@sarge4455 Yeah, she's my favorite. Belle's quite fast too.
Работа этих маленьких и милых собак впечатляет! Потрясающие собаки!
Only problem is UA-cam is clamping down on Ratting Channels like The Mink Man.
Sruff u tube carry on !
How do you dispose of the carcasses?
They stink to high heaven if left to decompose.
Good work boys
I bet the Dogs sleep for a day after ratting.
And I know what they are dreaming about when they do.

Get some Australian Terriers in there. Those little guys will surprise you
Is there any danger the dogs mistake a ferret for a rat and chomp! ?
Thanks for this. Hardly ever. The dogs are trained not to attack the ferrets and, if the dogs get over-excited and try it, the ferrets can give them a nip on the nose. / Charlie
Rats mice have sharp teeth and incisors they're not only fast and agile. We've got sharp teeth

Are the dogs bread to do this or is this there normal thing?
Thanks for this. They're bred for it and they love it. / Charlie
@@fieldsportstv thank you I find it really fascinating after seeing this video
I’m quite shocked as an animal lover that I’m OK with Rats getting their arse kicked by these Dogs. I didn’t know this existed until a few months ago.
Great work guys and keep the videos coming
Rat at 1:32 is huge! Size of a cat💀😨
Well done good team
