- Sorry for the long delay between videos, a recent storm took my internet for 5 days and put me a bit behind. This was one of the harder challenges I have done and I hope you guys enjoy the video!
With Chimney, you can take a minute to shoot out all the crystals before you activate the event, you'll be able to get 90% of them if you walk all the way to the stairs to the edge of the electrical field, that'll give you enough room and angles to look around in between the activation thing and the stairs to and shoot most of them. If circumstances allow (like your challenge run allows or if you have the item) you can use the Huntress's spear to spear them without having to use your ammos.
That's good to know, that event was obnoxious but I honestly had to use the traps a bit to help kill some of the hordes but that'll be a strat that I use thanks!
Enigma one shots the crystals for some reason or whatever the corrosive drone ability weapon is. The one that shoots out drones as its ability and deals corrosive damage only

Great vid! I also did a run and video with just the rusty lever action lol, just survivor because I’m a little baby, but it was very easy so I may go harder, but I didn’t use skills because I felt like I’d make it to easy since I was on easy. I’m planning on doing the rusty repeater next. Sad we didn’t get anything out of doing this.

Protip for those chunky self-destructers in Yaesha: cap them in that orange spot on their legs. If you hit it right it'll work as a headshot and permanently cripple them. They self-destruct a few seconds after, even if you're far away from them

I think its a bit weird that you dont allow mutators that dont effect your damage but allow your damaging archetype skills
There are a few reasons but the primary one for this video is that you literally can't put mods or mutators on the rusty lever gun

If it makes you feel any better had the chimney on my first run and I didn't know you could break the crystals until I read it online somewhere made it through purely with running and dodging

Think you’re talking about the wrangler. This is the rusty lever - has same shot dmg as the wrangler but lower rate of fire and cannot slot mods onto it.
But, yes, HUGS, I agree. But still, it just means he had to play better because he’s so squishy.

I thought the rusty lever gun did the same damage as the Wrangler, you just can use mods with it.
Shot per shot yes but the fire rate is worse so it's less dps

You can complete it with any gun....

You don't know how scaling works in R2?
Areas have a minimum level they spawn as, depending on where they are found in the run. Annihilation's minimum level is 14 and if you don't upgrade at all, you will not deal anywhere near enough damage. Since he's fought that boss on level 15, that means he just exceeded the minimum level by the tiniest amount, maybe one too many weapon upgrades, or more likely, one of his archetypes leveled a bit too high, but since this wasn't a speedrun and he did some of the side content, that was to be expected.
But really, he was still very much playing it close to optimal in terms of scaling.
Please tell me you know that you can shoot those annoying yaesha zombie bomber guys in the legs to instakill them, right? It's way easier than baiting the explosion.
I did not know that actually, I was able to control the bombers quite well so I didn't need another solution, but thanks for the tip!
@@SpartanSlay Yeah it's mostly for Legion and or the crappy Chimney decent. Only time in the game where those guys actually become kinda threatening.
