I want to thank you for giving me a roadmap to sobriety. I watch your videos every day as motivation when I wake up. Today marks 30 days sober for me, as well.
I just saw this guys vid at 2 months off the booze, then fast forwarded to where he is now and wow! So i'm on day 30 so thought i'd check this video out. I also just looked in the mirror and side profile i look so much better. Didn't even notice before today. Anyway, the goal is a 3 month break but who knows how I'll feel by then. Maybe I might go longer. I do enjoy a glass of wine.
30 days! And $800 richer! Nice to see the family is opening up and letting their guard down. Be transparent with them as you are with us. And they’ll be just fine. I agree with the other post. You look great. Just imagine in month 12 how you will look and feel. Get more into fitness to help with the brain fog! That’s what I did years ago. Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈
Hell yeah! Glad to see you here, im currently following your path 🙇♂ These videos are pretty useful to remind myself to not fall into those cravings, bests of lucks!
Thank you. The more cravings you get past, the easier it gets and the stronger you become. Only takes a few weeks / month before you can deal with them with ease. Life gets so much better. Keep moving forward!
Dude....look at your day 1 video compared to this one.....look at the color difference in your face, plus your face isn't puffy anymore. You are winning my friend!
Life is finally good again. It feels so freeing to not be trapped in the self inflicted alcohol prison I put myself in for all those years! All I had to do was "give up" one thing for everything. So worth it!
@@sauceainttheboss I agree.....while I am a week behind you, I feel the same way! I live in a small town on Whidbey Island where I know everyone and have had multiple people say that I look good. I think that when we lose the puffiness and the bloated look, we are the last ones to see it. I can say, I don't mind looking in the mirror every morning anymore.
Congratulations on a month. The clarity gets even better for sure. For me, there was another big jump in clarity and other improvements (fitness, etc.) about three months in.
Today i completed 4 weekends without drinking, slept like a baby! I remember coming home from a bender around the same time i woke up today. At first i wanted to do a dry january but now i just go for a dry 2023 like you said whats the pros to drinking, nothing really lol
@@sauceainttheboss so true, thanks for putting these videos up bro! Only pro i could think of was that tiny bit of extra boost it gave me in social situations but that can definetely be achieved with more practice
You gonna drop weight, and get better Blood Test markers. Congrats. The quality sleep is REAL and key to combating Brain Fog . When its time to sleep, prep a glass of electrolyte water. It's just the water & pinch of Pink Salt, Potassium ( its branded as , NOSalt! in supermarket ) , & food grade epsom salts. Drink your coffee 90 minutes after that glass of water. You got a good start for your day. I subscribed , Brother. Keep on keeping on. Source: Andrew Huberman
Always been a rather useless debate about the merits of counting days or not paying attention to it. My opinion is and always will be if it works for you and keeps you sober than it does not matter. Because it does not matter. Staying sober matters .

Well done! Me too, I watch them throughout the day so keep me in check. Day 11 here

Thanks Dana! Good idea on the fitness. I have been lifting weights, hiking or getting on the treadmill just about every day. It really helps.
30 days ! Keeping me motivated! I enjoy your videos , thanks for keeping it real !

Congratulations on reaching the one month mark and big thanks for recording all these videos. This was exactly what I needed. 👍

Congrats, Nate. Fixing the car yourself is kind of symbolic of your decision to change your life.
Thank you. For the record... exhaust manifold bolts that haven't been taken off in 30 years can be quite tough to remove! I got em though! 😃
Thanks for your videos, very helpful today's my 30th day and feel sooo much better!
Can from England.

Thank you. That's great to hear! I heard 90 days was a pretty good milestone with lots more positive changes happening then. Looking forward to it!
Congratulations!! You are amazing!
Congratulations Nate on your milestone! You are the Boss in this endeavour and you are looking great in doing it. Keep up the great results! XII
Thanks Ken! Feels good to have a month under my belt!

Great job! Yeah, the pros to quitting alcohol are massive compared to any of the tiny cons that may exist.

Yeah, this isn't a "one size fits all" journey. What works for one person may not work for another. What works for you is what matters.
Hello Nate
