Hello, does either Thrive Apprentice or Learndash have a setting to allow memberships to limit out for that day after a certain number of different IP address log-ins have been exceeded in 24 hours (i.e. like Wishlist Member)? Also, I'm considering using one of these products to sell video courses on my Divi WP site. I've seen some course layout examples and they both seem have a very similar look to them on the front-end, but do you prefer one over the other with respect to the overall presentation of the course (i.e. sales page, login and registration light boxes, customer dashboard page, lesson page layout design, checkout process, etc.). Finally, does Thrive Apprentice match up to Learndash, or do I have to purchase the entire Thrive Suite in order to start matching up in terms of features? Thank you!

Neither LMS controls the login process, so you would need a different plugin if you want IP-based login restrictions.
Both systems have a look-and-feel that you can customize, although Thrive's is much easier to do so. So, in terms of which you prefer, can't say it matters since you can can change it.
Lastly, no, Thrive does not match up to Learndash purely as an LMS. Learndash has quizzing, assignments, certs, and many of the functions of a school. Thrive Apprentice just organizes your courses and doesn't have those other bells and whistles (at least not yet). And even going with the whole Thrive Suite isn't going to put you on par with Learndash in that regard,
