Tom Gannon Irrigation Innovation Trial March 2023

The Irrigation Demonstration Project (2023) was open to all irrigators in central Gippsland working in all fields of agriculture.
This video shows dairy farmer Tom Gannon and his trial looking at the use of 'shandied' effluent in his pivot irrigation system.
The aim is to show that such practices can utilise the use of effluent in irrigated pastures when using pivot systems.
The Irrigation and Nutrient Management Demonstration Project is an initiative of the Victorian Government’s Sustainable Irrigation Program.
