I would love to know. it's the same few people as well it seems. I refuse to believe they have time to watch every 80s commercial. crazy part is that even if I had heard this commercial elsewhere I can't honestly say I would have recognized the sample, as much as I've played replica to death. insane skill, kudos and huge thanks to those folks
Well, I can only give myself the credit of finding this sample because I'm making a visual album for Chuck Person's A.D.D., so I seek through a lot of 80s compilations to both search for good visuals for the samples that have been yet to be identified, and to see if I come across to any of the samples by pure chance. So far I only came across with this sample, but funnily enough I came across with the Fruity Pebbles commercial of Up, a bit late after its discovery.
this is honestly one of my favorite samples on the whole album, its so subtle but completely sets the mood of the song
Naw this is like figuring out there’s a map on the back of the Declaration of Independence by measuring a temperature map of the quill indentations 💀
thanks nick cage
its actually not that subtle if you listen closely
i cannot wrap my head around how the fuck people are able to find these samples

Sample finders will rule the world
Daniel lopatin was 2 years old when that ad came out
Talented toddler, putting out stuff at the age of 2
@@nitendleri wish i was this skilled at that age wtf
He bought a collection of these commercials.
how on earth are they finding so much samples recently
Ai
@@martinmaz95 wait are you serious?
@@fritz250757 yes. i think they isolate the samples and feed them to google audio search (dont know the exact name)
@@silasgotsch4458 that's so cool
Wasn't it because someone got ahold of the DVD that compiled all the commercials OPN pulled the samples from?
favorite track of the album
Of course,the colors are exquisite,
of course they last
im gonna cry
What's with the sudden uptick in replica samples?
Damn this is some deep diving. Thank you for your work 🙌🏼
Now, we need to find the "vocal + piano" sample in Up.
The vocal and drum samples are from a flintstones ad,the piano tho... It's probably something vaporwave...
@@hartennyOneohtrix Point Never IS vaporwave. He is literally the entire genre of vaporwave.
@@yendorman you think i don't know that?
Insane find!!! I wonder if that shot kind of inspired the cover art too
The cover art comes from an illustration from the 1930's in a horror magazine
@@thecaremaker1001 oh cool!!!
@@thecaremaker1001 doesnt preclude inspiring the choice.
perhaps the artist saw the commercial, then saw the comic panel, and made a weird connection

Amazing videos!

Dream trueeeee
Man, that’s clever 😂
how the heck did someone notice that? Why are so many samples being found recently? Is is the same guy finding them?

@@damson498 great work man
@@damson498 thank you so much
I’ve been wondering the same thing about why so many are being found recently.
we'll find the title track's source soon...
It's live piano played by Daniel. AKA not a sample
@@thecaremaker1001 damn that's crazy
how tf
nice
How
how?!?!?!?
BRUHHHHHHH
Why does 0:15 sound like an Infinity Frequencies track?
Does anyone know what the piano sample in the title track is from?
It's played by Daniel Lopatin in studio
@@thecaremaker1001 ah thanks!
how do people find this shit
