When buying a Wrangler one has to ask themselves, "am i really gonna take this thing off road"? If the answer is no, but you just want a jeep, buy a sport. If the answer is maybe sometimes, then the Willy's package will likely do the trick. The shocks, tires, rock rails, and limited slip rear dif are what you are paying for to get the word Willy's on the hood. If you are truly an off roader, get the Ruby. The 7k you spend on those 3 buttons inside will get you out of most situations off road unless you start doing some serious rock crawling.
@leftover pork chop with the r Willys package you also get the blacked out front end. the grill is not chrome , or the color of the vehicle , it is blacked out and on my willies I have , the package also has LED lighting and extra auxiliary on the inside. This is my second willies. The first one was a 2016 same deal. blacked out front end/grill. except no LED lighting , wasn't out yet.
This is all you need for off-roading as long as you don't need a truck bed or carry a lot of passengers. It'll probably drive circles around most full size 4x4 trucks off-road. Hate that exposed gas cap! Can't tell you how superior your video's look using this location. Good job!
Glad you appreciate the greenery of the backgrounds. It's little details like that that go unnoticed by a lot of people. I'm glad you appreciate that..
This wrangler is well equipped as in “loaded” and VERY off road capable. It will go just about anywhere you will ever choose to go. And it’s not that slow. You’ve got 285 hp under the hood with shorter gearing in a vehicle that’s not excessively heavy. About the only thing the Rubicon model brings you are the front locker, disconnect-able front sway bar and bigger tires.
The ride in a wrangler 2 door is a bit choppy. It won’t be as smooth as a pickup, car, or something like a RAV. And it will probably be a more noisy ride. But functionally, no problem. Interior storage space is pretty tight and rear seat passenger comfort is cramped. Unless your other ride is a Miata.
I got my Willys with a soft top and a six-speed manual and without power windows, locks, and mirrors, saved a ton of money. I did a quick walk around on my channel if you want to check it out
It's too basic to be priced that high. JEEP also has a low customer reliability rating. They are relying in pure name recognition. I can get a much better car for that money from a more polished company. Having said that, I loved the old JEEPS.
@@vertigo2894 makes sense. 4runners and Lexus GX with kdss and locking differential also. Jeep trying to go upscale and chase the Audi BMW crowd but lost their core market in the process.

That’s facts. Great write up !
Even the Sport will go to places most people wouldn't dream of lol.

I think you forgot to mention the Willys package also gives you the upgraded Rubicon brakes.
2 door is the best for off-road. Greetings

Now my perfect vehicle for me to drive one.
23,s are the Last year for the Antenna on the right front fender ,24,s switched to the windshield now .
Correct
@williamheinsinger7390
yes, and the windshield is gonna cost much more, because it has an antenna in it. And the dash is mostly screen.

Liked and subscribed, keep up the great content! Thanks for sharing.
👍🏻 The only car that never really needs to be redesigned.
This and the Porsche 911
@@703Speed Well, I think maybe the 911 should go mid engine. They have to handicap the cayman to keep it from being better than the 911.
I'll wait for the 2024 Willys. Rear lockers, 33"
So I’ve heard 👊🏼
That's going to be all anyone needs.
Just ordered my '24 and has everything you said it would plus a new designed entertainment screen.
@quitoduck
did they tell you that the antenna is in the windshield?
enjoy!
Ordered mines in April! Coming in a week! Can't wait
What color ??
@@brianmedved-lu9dy Earl Gray Clear coat!
@Shaqt0418
you will love the color and get lots of compliments everywhere I go that's all I hear is how nice my Jeep looks in that color👏
@@JT-gq1sh all facts. So fun to have one!
How would a 300 mile freeway trip be in 1? If I go south to Oregon its usually a 5 hr. Trip,with a few rest breaks. Peace hro.
I think you'd be totally fine.. Not as comfortable as a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it will get you there no problem

@AMERICANrambler
Not true ,unless you hit
potholes🤭2023 actually, is a very comfortable ride.
still love my old school 2door😎
Have a 2 dr JL and love it! Great video!
Thank you!
Is it me or have I been seeing more and more 2 doors on the road lately
Supposedly, they're not making as many as the four doors.
..nice❤, very informative, love it👍🏻..
As much as new Jeeps cost now, who can afford to buy one as a "second" vehicle?

You have a real jeep! Respect!
Just checked out the vid. Nice.. $36k is still a lot, but seems like a good value!
@@703Speed Thank you
Just love it @jeep😊
$50k for this is insane
I can wrap my head around under 29k for one. But over 30k? Nope. I’d actually prefer no power windows, it’s the locks that would bug me a little.
Glad to see at this price point and year it comes with a factory LOCKING gas cap......LOL!
Check out the crash safety videos, you wouldn't go for a ride around the block in one of these.
That's most cars nowadays..they are all made of plastic and tinfoil!
I like my 2005 TJ much better... and it's reliable!
Jeep has lost their damn mind on their prices.
I’d get one of these for like 40K

Why do they still feel the need to put on the old chrome key locks on the doors. 😩
Just in case I guess
@MrSizewise
easy fix, they make black caps to go over them. bought them.
very inexpensive and looks
nice😎 I can't remember ,if I got them on Amazon?
good review
Overpriced junk..😮😮😮😮
So you're going for the only competition instead, the G-wagon.
Definitely expensive, but so is the Bronco
Every vehicle nowadays is overpriced and plastic junk. You just have to pick which overpriced junk tickles your fancy lol
