Historically accurate.
Killing the Warden is really difficult because it has more health than the Wither and Ender dragon. Those blocks from the Deep Dark are sculk blocks. You can collect them faster with a hoe but you'll need silk touch to actually collect the blocks because mining the blocks actually gives you experience.
On bedrock the wither has more health that the warden and on java the wither is weaker

Lewis, here's a tip: If you're crouching, neither the Sculk Sensors nor the Warden can hear you. The Warden dosen't even spawn unless you set off a Sculk Shrieker 4 times in a row.

It’s crazy to see Lewis’s progress from not knowing gold was absolute trash, to readying himself to fight a Warden. His voice also changed a crazy amount too, like dang.

funfact: theres a new structure called the Ancient City, which is where the Warden is from , you should try finding that structure
The river leads into Minecraft's largest cave chamber and drops several hundred meters vertically, and also includes Ancient City, one of the Most Wonderful Minecraft Seeds.

You NEED to have sound on in the deep dark. You didn't react at all when the warden spawned even though it makes a very loud noise
No matter what in the deep dark, you need to stay quiet unless you actually want the warden to spawn. Make sure to crouch as much as possible
You can also use wool to block noise

Once you have already found the deep dark, you should dig around to find the ancient city. The ancient city is the home of the warden and the biggest structure in Minecraft, which is also filled with lots of good loot.

Hey Lewis, the tnt strat might be a good idea but it'll take super long to gather all the gunpowder that is needed. So maybe, trapping the warden in a pit filled with iron golems might be more possible. I looked online and I think around 11 golems should be enough to kill the warden. However the tnt strat might be more interesting to look at!

Polar I think you should lay off the warden for a while because the best way to beat it is to get potions and protection 5 enchanted netherite armour. And you need full protection 2 diamond armour to survive ONE hit so like , yea

My first time encountering the Deep Dark, as soon as I set off a shrieker I was like “nope” and I was just out of there.
Lewis listen, first of all . The snow that you were inside in the beginning is a "snowier snow " basically, like in real life if you get under the snow you are freezing. It's tricky so be careful where you step in the snow . Remember, most of things in Minecraft are influenced from real life. Now about warden, do you remember the new type of blocks? That were dark and blue . Well these blocks sends singal to the octopus block ( I don't know it's name lol , but the ones that make noise and you destroyed one ) then they go to the other one which summons the warder . You can search in the wiki or maybe search in other comments about how to defend these . But most people say is to use wool to not send the signal. Warden is not a boss and he doesn't drop something unique, if you want to loot something, you better find and ancient city . The thing is , they don't have the best loot so it's pretty useless to loot them since you can loot better things .
Lewis i know no one has said this before from what ive seen but if you find an enchanted golden apple. It is the rarest item and powerful item in the whole of minecraft and its extremely rare to obtain. So the Deep dark has a garantee to drop diamond armour and tools like the bastion

Use wool so the sculk sensors won't sense you, although I THINK breaking them can catch you.
there is no such thing as having "good enough gear" to fight the Warden. It can 2-shot you with full netherite and has more health than the Wither & can shoot you through blocks with its scream attack. It doesn't drop anything cool only a single sculk catalyst. Fighting the Warden is never worth it. It is not supposed to be a boss it is more like a natural disaster, like a flood or a tornado. The Warden is not fought but hidden from, moving (besides crouching) or performing actions will alert sensors and the Warden to your presence (Warden is blind, but can smell you and hear you).
Lewis when you are down in the deep dark you can use wool to build and the warden wont hear you, wool can also be found in the deep dark, and it wont alert the skulk things, and when you see the spawner for the warden use a hoe to break it its faster, and when the spawners for the warden are close to each other use tnt to break 4 at once for example, like for lewis too see its important
Tip- use an iron hoe on the deep dark blocks, it gives you lots of experience!!

The Warden is blind, so he cannot see you initially. He uses the sound you make from moving and mining to locate you. However, once the Warden finds you it's not as simple as quieting down, the Warden uses echolocation to "see" you and chase you after he's aggro'ed so you have to run for your life if you're detected.
So a clicker from The Last of Us basically?

How to get free diamond armour and tools: look up villager trading tutorials and set up a villager breeder, then level up your villagers to max level and if you've got the right villager, you can trade emeralds for enchanted diamond armour and tools
LEWIS. The warden is unlike any other mob in the game. It’s blind so if you crouch and stay quiet it won’t find you. But it can still sniff you which is why u need to get away fast. It’s AI allows it to pathfind every other block mobs would usually trap itself in. You can’t trap it. It is immune to fire and lava. Even if you get out of its reach and go into a small tunnel it will still try to hit you with its ranged sonic shriek attack. Every time you walk near the block that lets out a noise(sculk shrieker) without crouching it will shriek and summon the warden after being activated 4 times. Always be careful in the deep dark. And one last thing…it doesn’t matter what armor you wear, the Warden is extremely powerful and dangerous. Similar to piglin brutes and vindicators it will deactivate your shield with one swipe and will kill you with two hits with FULL DIAMOND OR NETHERITE ARMOR. Iron armor and below you will be one shotted. Keep aware of the wardens heartbeat as well as it gets faster by being too agitated with sounds you make. Best solution until you are ready is to lure it away with eggs or snowballs as Bows and crossbows will make noise. The warden has 800 hearts as well and is stronger than the ender dragon and the WITHER. Good luck mate

You can get an almost infinite source of emeralds (that can be traded for useful stuff) by making an iron farm, then trading the iron for emeralds with a Smith. One of the most useful things you can do in the game especially to get ready for all the cool fights that are coming!

I think a good way to improve on this playthrough is for you to look into making some basic "Minecraft farms" not the type that makes wheat, but rather actual useful stuff like iron and wood. Look up Minecraft bedrock iron farm and try making that a short term goal once you find a village since they require villagers
polar, theres a super massive, like gigantic structure that has a chane of spawning in the deep dark. If you can find one they have loot and you can fight it there

Lewis! The best way to fight the warden is to summon it, then stand on top of the portal in the center of an ancient city and shoot it with a power V bow. Works best if you have an elytra and night vision potions
The Warden is blind, it only listens to sounds. If you for example throw a snowball at a block far away from yourself, he will listen and go that way. If you sneak and don't make any sound, the Warden won't your about your presence

Okie so That block that screeches out loud is called a skulk shrieker and if you activated once or 4 times, then the warden will spawn. The way you activated it was by making a lot of noise. You have to keep quiet and not make noise so the shrieker won't activate and spawn the warden. Also the warden has 500 health which is more than the ender dragon and the wither.

Even if you do kill the Warden, it's not worth the time and resources. It only drops 5 EXP and *maybe* a Sculk Catalyst. (Sculk is that weird block you saw that is native to the Deep Dark.)

You can use snow balls to lure the Warden and wool blocks to silence your footsteps or to block those Shriekers from receiving any sounds.
Lewis you should use that cave to make a base out of it.

The warden is very easy if you have a power five bow and infinity. It just takes like two minutes

You probably gonna careful to set off these sculk shriekers is the only block than can summon the warden. Crouching is key when wandering in deep dark. You disable the sculk shriekers with wool fully surround it
The sculk shrieker has warning level of 4 is how many times you step it. And warning level goes down in every 10 mins
And sculk sensor that detects a vibration in 8 blocks of radius and hears a noise like: eating, placing blocks, opening chest, gliding elytra, walking, swimming, standing on top of sculk sensor and etc.
And sculk catalyst is a block that can spreads a sculk when a mob dies near it
And sculk block is a decorative block
And there is a new structure is called an "Ancient City" it is located in mountain above it's barely hard to find it
Warden has two attacks including melee and ranged:
The warden can defeat a player with full set of netherite armor with 2 hits. Shield disables for 5 sec cooldown.
The sonic boom attack can phase through blocks, armor, shield blocking, and even prot 4 enchantment.
The warden despawn after 60 seconds or in the water also despawn not sure
The best thing to do is have a power 5 bow bunch of arrows ( if you needed ), an infinity enchantment doesn't run out of arrows and tipped arrows of harming 2. And pillar up 21 blocks high so u can kill warden and won't shoot u.
Another thing is you can distract the warden using projectiles to throw it and warden will go it. Since warden weakness is water bc it slows down the warden sprint
If you don't make any noise the warden sniff for you try stay away from it
