Minecraft just released 1.19 Wild update for all platforms. The update mainly contains new loot and several new blocks and items generating deep in the caves. The main attraction of this update is the Warden Mob which is one of the strongest mobs in the Minecraft.

When I tried this one on Java, I discovered that the Warden's projectiles won't hurt the Dragon, but will launch it. Let's just say that I found a way to make the Dragon go far away from the portal that may or may not have involved a hundred or so angry Wardens.

I think the Evoker could've been a good opponent for the Warden if the Evoker was accurate with his attacks and kept summoning Vexes much quicker than what was shown.

I experimented with a Warden vs. Wither fight on Bedrock, too, and got varied results. (Flat world)
The outcome was dependent on where the Warden was when the Wither was born and killed, as well as on the difficulty setting.
On normal, it would either be a tie, or the Warden would win, whereas on hard, it would either be a tie, or the Wither would win.
Warden is far stronger than a wither tho which is scary

The Warden is heavily close range dominant but has the occasional sonic blast for a ranger burst attack that can do more damage then the Wither’s consistent dps. The only thing that gave the Wither a tie instead of a full loss was the spawn explosion in the beginning giving it a head start and the self destruct in the end allowing it to take the Warden down with it. If either of those explosions didn’t hit then the Warden would’ve loved and won.

I love the way the warden just goes absolutely berserk against the wither, like “NOOO NOT ALOWED!” That charge at you while he shoots that beam attack is insane. Also I love that his melee attack is way stronger than his beam attack.
So in conclusion: the only mob that actually stands a chance against the warden is the wither, even if the fight is a draw.
Another edit: guys, I have a best friend who is a Minecraft PRO, and EVEN HE agrees with me. Even if he was my worst enemy he would still probably agree. So y’all should just accept that it’s a draw.

Nope, the ender dragon can’t take any damage from any entities other than the player, but the ender dragon can damage any other mob, meaning it can kill the warden while being invincible to all its attacks

Very interesting film. I belive outside The Wither, Shulker is the second mob with the most damage until his death. Warden also takes moderate fall damage from Shulker, which shows what would happen if there were more Shulkers.

The Warden may very well be the strongest mob in Minecraft, considering that it takes two blows to kill a player in full netherite armor (exactly 10/7 blows), in terms of attack strength as shown in Minecraft Live 2020.
I'd agree except bedrock wither exists. And see, the one, very important difference between the two is that the wither is supposed to be killed. The warden isn't. So the fact that the wither is still so powerful on bedrock edition that it is essentially tied as the strongest mob, and is MEANT to be killed, says something.

Recently Mojang has been favoring Java as far as parity goes but I hope they will go the opposite way with the Wither because the Wither is supposed to be this badass, feared and super powerful boss which it is on Bedrock however on Java, it is not. I don't think many Java players take it seriously because of how easy it is to defeat there, but on Bedrock, it's definitely a force to be reckoned with, and I truly hope they it keep it as that instead of making it weak like on Java.

As someone who has never paid that much attention to minecraft since 1.7.0 when mods were at their peak, seeing actual BEAMS be fired out of a mob rather than a flurry of fireballs is incredibly surprising to me. The wither has no reason to be this hard in Bedrock edition. The fact that the wither fight was that close... it could've gone either way and it screws with the underlying lore of the game (It's likely that the warden defeated the wither for the ancient builders originally).

That’s interesting, I pitted the wither against the warden in bedrock (on ps4) (no mods, just in creative mode) and the wither beat the warden with half its health remaining.
Additionally, when I pitted the warden against the dragon, the dragon didn’t shoot any fireballs but neither could hurt the other, even with the end crystals removed.

Only thing the Wither has going for it is its range and DPS from said range augmented by Wither DOT. As soon as the Wither entered low-health stages where it stays close to the ground, it didn't stand a chance. The warden can take 1/12th of the Wither's entire hp bar per melee attack.
