      Are are tele electric ukueles. And this guy can't play such a beautiful instrument. Drop the effects give this girl a real tube amp and it screams it cries it just might get ya laid. Pretty instrument underrated the most fun a girl can have with anything other than well another girl. Lol

      I just finished a build on Stew Mac mini tele and tune it ADGCEA so 4 high strings play all uke songs with a great guitar tone.

    This is great. I got into guitar. And love rock. But with my disease guitars never fit me right. And kid ones never stayed tuned. I got into uke but was sad when I couldn't rock out on them. Now I can!!!

    Great job showing these amazing instruments. Finally a great overview of the endless tone possibilities of the models. The LP has the most versatility. You can play some clean jazz, pop, rock… due to pick configuration and control of each.
    We need more ukulele manufacturers to go beyond the traditional shapes and electronics.
    I suggest to future owners to get the RISA hard case. The gig bag that comes with it is horrible for such a heavy and beautiful instrument.

    Terry, my man. Thanks for adding the Risas to your line. I LOVE< LOVE< LOVE my new Risa LP. What a hoot!! I love my Fender American Standard Telecaster but I think the Risa is higher quality. The pots and switch are flawless. The pickups, custom made for Risa. The neck is very sexy... feels perfect. it's spring, windows are rolled down and the neighbors are annoyed. Life is good.

    Jeez Louize I thought my mind was blown yesterday with the stratocaster style but this is even more cool! Boy would I love to just try playing any of these. Would fingerpicking and strumming without a pick be brutal on the fingertips or not, that's my big concern.

    • @gios7752
      @gios7752 3 роки тому +1

      It’s an instrument meant to be used with a pick. You can fingerpick it or use a combination of both techniques.
      What you have to get used to are the strings and the tension. It has a bit more tension than an electric guitar. That’s because of the neck length. However with a good set up, it will be a joy to play.

    Man I can't wait to get one after I save up. Let me tell you the issues I've been having. As a disabled Little person. I've been trying to find my perfect instrument since high school. I loved guitar. But they were to big. My hands are toddler sized. And I'm very small. Brittle Bones so I can't hold much weight. So with guitars I had to get cheap kids guitars to play. Even then they were kinda big. All I wanted to do was Rock out! I discovered Ukulele. But thought you could only play cute little songs. Until I discovered your videos. I'm a classic rock chick through and through. So the look to the sound I'm loving these Ukes. And can not wait to get my hands on one of these some how! I still might have to get the soprano as it's the smallest. So I'm curious how that one sounds. Either way. I'm looking forward to the day that I'll be fortunate enough to lay my hands on one. And call it my own

    Thank you Terry for this wonderful presentation. This Ukulele Risa Les Paul becomes a real lust, even only after 2 years of practice, but with a very assiduous rhythm of 2 to 3 hours daily.
    Could it be possible to suggest the following pedals and amplifier for a nice set ?...
    So I really have to think about the possibility of having an electric model, to complete my 6 Ukulele Tenor (Kanilea, Koaloha, Big Island, Uluru, Romero Creations, Anuenue): what a beautiful thing ...
    I'm French, and it's hard to find quality Ukuleles here. I am therefore obliged to see English or US sites with, of course, the customs charges to be taken into account.
    So I will think about all this during my vacation, and continue the 2 weeks of challenge with you ..
    I will therefore think about all this during my holidays, and continue the 2 weeks of challenge with you .. My English being perfectible, I am very far from understanding all the explanations, but the images are very precise: that compensates ..
    Really, greats moments.....
    Thank you.
    Eric

    • @carsonplew7866
      @carsonplew7866 3 роки тому +2

      I think the biggest reason is that the LP have double humbucker pickups while the Strat styles have single coil pickups

    • @lone-wolf-1
      @lone-wolf-1 3 роки тому +2

      An LP requires more work: maple top glued on mahogany, carving the top, glueing the neck, angled headstock, block inlays (not this one), two pots and one/two magnetic coils more. (Some Risa LP uke‘s have body and neck binding too)

    When they say soprano size, it's almost conventional concert size. If you play a concert, a Risa soprano will feel very familiar.

      We're obviously in the minority of the commenters here but I'm with you; I don't get it, either. The sound is unrecognizable as a uke. It's just sounds like a small electric guitar. So why not just play an electric guitar? It's not that I'm a rigid traditionalist. It's just that ukes, like all instruments, have unique characteristics that seems to be lost here without adding anything special.

    • @emm_arr
      @emm_arr Рік тому +1

      @@kmr8836 "So why not just play an electric guitar?"
      Because ukes are better instruments to many. Easier to play. Easier to learn. Easier to compose on.
