I would like to know if I can run 10k on the curved treadmill in a daily routine. My job times don´t allow me to run outside during the week so I want to know if a 10k daily running at soft pace (5:30 per km) is susteinable in the curved treadmills.
It took me a couple of weeks to adjust to running on a manual treadmill, but a 10k is definitely doable! Your pace might be a little slower than expected at first.
What's the maintenance upkeep like on the non-motorized tread? I had a Sole Fitness s77 that had many issues with the motor and the belt needing constant lubrication and then problems trying to recalibrate it back after lubrication application. Not sure what kind of maintenance a slat treadmill would entail and wanting some information regarding this as I need to replace and purchase a new treadmill. Weighing getting a Sole Motorized Slatbelt, vs. an Assault non-motorized tread. Any ideas about the maintenance between these two?
In general, slat belt treadmills require far less maintenance. You may need to lubricate the bearings from time to time. Because the Sole ST90 is motorized, there are more potential complications, so it may require more maintenance than a non-motorized slat belt treadmill. This could include calibrating the incline and additional cleaning around the treadmill to keep the motor running well.
It has to do with the weight of the belt, how steep the curve is, and if there is additional resistance on the belt. Typically lighter belts and steeper curves make it easier to run because it is easier to get the belt moving.
I was a runner, Walker, and a athlete in my younger years. Now, older I've gained some weight and have a hurting knee plus I'm not wealthy, can you please recommend a treadmill?
A NordicTrack treadmill might be a good option for a little more cushioning for your knee. The Commercial series is the softest but the EXP series is still soft and a bit more affordable.
Sorry I missed your last comment! I haven't tried the Trugrit Elite yet. It looks pretty sweet, and I'm happy they addressed the issues they had with the Trugrit Runner.
Thank you. Any thoughts on Aussie pro runner?
This channel is incredibly helpful, thank you!

Which of these treadmills do you think would work best to use primarily for walking? Thank you.
I like the TrueForm Trainer most for walking because it has the lowest curve and feels the most natural.
con sinceridad, cual te ha parecido la mejor para entrenamientos de fondo?
gracias y saludos
AssaultRunner Pro or TrueForm Trainer

AssaultRunnerPro for walking only ..How long would it last ?
So, in other words, the wider the curv is, the easier to run? or this has to do with the trademark as well?

Have you actually tried trugrit elite runner?

Thank you 😊
Truform is too easy and comfortable. I like the added resistance of the tru grit.
Why don’t you test Technogym? Specifically the Technogym Run.
