About Stephen's singing. Two part story. In 1992 or so, a co-worker was playing guitar in a progressive metal band, perhaps trying to emulate Dream Theater. They decided to disband, but I was invited to their last show. IIRC, they only played covers, which I knew most or all, so I sang along most of the time. When they took a break, the singer approached me in awe, saying he could hear me. Then, in 1998, I finally got to see Ratt live. Same kind of situation, small place, me singing along to most of the songs. But Stephen sure seemed to be giving me a dirty look.

Warren is an absolute beast, Michael Shenker played in Ratt and finished the tour after Robin started to spiral down. WD always has a slick bluesy foundation but a real wicked uniqueness, can easily rank him up there with Gorge Lynch shred wise. Glen Tipton from Judas Priest is another wickedly underrated guitarist, Defenders of the Faith had some brilliant guitar work imo. Awesome video dude!

I always had an extremely big love for the guitar parts of country and rock songs even as a child. But I never got completely heart attack serious about learning until Warren DeMartini...After listening to those songs for the first time on "Out Of The Cellar",....About a week later I bought a crappy pawn shop Harmony electric with saved up lawn mowing cash in the amount of $45 and then another $40 for a little lunch box Crate amp.

I liked Robbin's more than Warren's. I don't know. I think he's great but I heard so much great guitarists from the 80s and to put him even in the top 15 is impossible. I loved the playing of Eddie, Randy, Akira, Ronni Le Tekro, George and Steve Lynch, Vivian, Vai, Vito, Skolnick, David Scott (Tuff Luck), Rex Carroll, Mattias Eklundh, Greg Howe, Nuno, Andy Timmons, Jeff Waters (Annihilator) and Harry Cody (Shotgun Messiah). How can Warren be considered underrated? How is RATT underrated? They sold millions of albums and became multi-millionaires as a band. Warren had multiple signature Charvel guitars released and has graced many covers of guitar magazines and is loved by millions. Now if Warren was still slugging away in a bar band after 40 years I would agree. Warren has received accolades throughout his entire career and is in my top 5 fave players. But underrated he isn't. @@TroyShaw Damn man,Rolling Stones trippin’ hard,Warren not only is top 100,but top 50 AT LEAST! My favorite guitarist,no one can do that Round and Round solo like him, don’t care what those fools from RS say, they are pretty irrelevent…

True Warren is underrated, but not as much as the most underrated and ignored player ever Criss Oliva!! 🎸

Um...actually Criss Oliva from Savatage is THE most underrated guitar player of ALL time. Look it up.

The thing with Warren is he played wrong notes that sounded better then right ones some times . Like in the outro to round n round he also does it on your in love and Give it all at the end of those solos . I always had and ear for it i just don't know how to do it lol but its amazing and sounds so good .
