TATA advertises the car as a hot hatch, but adding ventilated seats, 360 camera won't make the car go faster or handle better. A tighter steering, a stiffer suspension, a DCT transmission, wider tyres, longer wheelbase makes it a hot hatch. I would go with i20 Nline any day over the Altroz
No I20's were technically overpriced, it's just ppl's opinion. Btw, premium hatchback still expected to be around "10lakhs" till date in India is quite depressing if you're a hatch person, that's why Baleno only gets 1.2L n.a engines, & hatches like Altroz rule the hatch market.

I20 problems :- 1. 1.2L n.a 4cyl = Good but "underpowered". 2. 1.5l U2 4cyl = Excellent, torquey, but "diesel" & "discontinued" now. 3. 1L Tgdi 3cyl = Petrol, best performance(MT > Diesel in acceleration) but "3cyl". #. All engines in I20 are good with real big drawbacks.
Why on earth are you testing DCT? Seriously? Hyundai has offered the DCT version of the i20 N Line for ages. Why haven't you tested the manual transmission? You are yourself admitting the IMT is replaced with MT. It's only logical to test the MT. It's frustrating that Indian UA-camrs still don't get it. Ugh!
