Absolutely flawless playing. Guitar sounds terrific. Love the chords and the arrangement. I Need to get practicing. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
That is possibly the best sounding acoustic guitar ever! Masterful playing!
plugged in
@@sooparticular yes and it’s a Maton which are made in Australia.
They are known for their “plugged in” sound and are better suited for that than just playing them acoustically.
@@jimmy5634 agreed!!
Fantastic. I have never heard it played better.
yes, a great tune written by my cousin and her husband John!
Amazing tune
Awesome
Hands down, the most amazing and flawless rendition of this song. You made a perfect song even better!
First I’ve ever heard of this guy but I’m definitely impressed and now a fan. Just amazing.
Outstanding arrangement and performance!
I used to play in a band called The Gene Puddle. We only had casual jams but everyone was a professional working and talented musician. So at the beginning of any jam, someone would call out a tune, like a Sting tune or Beatles... whatever. We'd work at them and by the end of the night we'd have 5 or 6 tunes hammered down pretty good. Well, I'll never forget the time we had just got done playing Roxanne and someone yelled out Still The One. Wouldn't ya know it, It's like we had been planing it for year. We nailed it first time. I'm talkin the vocal and guitar harmonies. At the end we all looked at each other and said "did that really just happen?". That was the most fun I ever had playing with those guys and it's the best we ever sounded.
What a God-given gift. Thank you.

Wow, I played this in the 70s! now that I think of maybe I should have used an alternate tuning.
I used standard tuning....though it may work well in drop D
its standard
Chet Atkins brought me here, nice
Amazing! Can I purchase the tab from you? Pretty Please?
Lovely- what make and model guitar is that, please??
Super, but nylon strings win for this song!!!!! 😎😉
Is the sheet music available for purchase?
This is gorgeous! I wish I knew what he was doing from 1:25 - 1:30.
thats the easiest part
@@sooparticular Great what is it?
@@NelsonRiverosMusic hold on....
@@NelsonRiverosMusic i am a pro and a teacher and this is my style..I play and teach alot of chet atkins stuff here in nyc..u are a jazz guy I see thats why u find this hard...:) ok
these are simple thirds in the key of D..he first at 1:25 puts his index finger on 2nd fret g string his pinky on 4th fret d string..with right hand thumb he hits the open E string open and also hits the open b string....then he slides to 2nd fret second finger d string creating that harmony with open g string...again he hits the open low e string to ring during this...THENNNN LOL HE SLIDES PINKY TO 5TH FRET A STRING MIDDLE FINGER ON D STRING 4TH FRET ANOTHER SIMPLE HARMONY IN THIRDS..THEN 1ST FINGER SECOND FRET D STRING WITH OPEN G UNDERNEATH..LASTLY ist finger bars 2nd fret d and g string..then he just makes g and A triads....easy to see how he ends this!!! hope this helps...its exactly like the original but slightly fancier! with open E low string ringing etc.
Chris nyc!!
where is my comment?
Any special tuning required for this song?
No Mate - it's just standard tuning - Cheers
Tommy Emmanuel clone?
