Don't really know the context or the reason for that war because I live very far away but I hope it stops, let those family and those people live their life in the territory (the land) where they grew up. You have to wonder how many of those young men and women featured in this film ended up dying for their county. I'm not Armenian (I'm Greek) but we have many Armenian Orthodox who immigrated to the USA and attend our church. The stories they have told us are heartbreaking. May God have mercy upon them all.
I am latvian from Latvia and let me tell you how this conflict/war looked to us overhere: we (majority) think that it is not realy "their country" (meaning Khrabach = armenian), when even Armenia does not officially recognize Kharabach as part of Armenia. For us it is "just another local conflict far away from our mother land", sorry to say the truth. Now let me be clear: we (the majority) are sorry for all the losses and injustice and war crimes, BUT we don't want to take any part / be on one any side because again- "it is not their land, it is not our problem, even their goverment not recongise it it as such". Also, even though they released new music, please take time to read what they want to pertain from this. This is not just new content. This a way for us to stand up and help the people that need us the most regardless of where you are, and what you believe in. Together, we can spread the message with the help of this band. I may be a Filipino, but I really care for these people who are struggling because they don't deserve such treatment. They deserve the good things in life. This is such a strong message on so many levels, as a Polish citizen I am truly concerned about what is happening right now in Artsakh, in regard to the conflict itself, but also the tragedy of all the people, men, women and children, who deserve a peaceful life, but are subject to political terror, just as Polish people used to be. The fact that SOAD buried the hatchet among themselves and were able to make a stand together shows that this is a more important matter than anything else. It should be a message to all of us: not many things are worth arguing as much as we think, and in this time we should make special effort to reunite and put our differences aside, for the world is being divided more and more (American nation, Polish nation, and I believe we are not the only ones suffering strong antagonism and bi-polarity right now) and it's just a way to deprive the people of freedom and dignity.

You have to wonder how many of those young men and women featured in this film ended up dying for their county. I'm not Armenian (I'm Greek) but we have many Armenian Orthodox who immigrated to the USA and attend our church. The stories they have told us are heartbreaking. May God have mercy upon them all.
I am latvian from Latvia and let me tell you how this conflict/war looked to us overhere: we (majority) think that it is not realy "their country" (meaning Khrabach = armenian), when even Armenia does not officially recognize Kharabach as part of Armenia. For us it is "just another local conflict far away from our mother land", sorry to say the truth. Now let me be clear: we (the majority) are sorry for all the losses and injustice and war crimes, BUT we don't want to take any part / be on one any side because again- "it is not their land, it is not our problem, even their goverment not recongise it it as such". Sorry, we cant't be bothered, we have a border with Russia and that is the threat to us, that is our problem.

This is such a strong message on so many levels, as a Polish citizen I am truly concerned about what is happening right now in Artsakh, in regard to the conflict itself, but also the tragedy of all the people, men, women and children, who deserve a peaceful life, but are subject to political terror, just as Polish people used to be. The fact that SOAD buried the hatchet among themselves and were able to make a stand together shows that this is a more important matter than anything else. It should be a message to all of us: not many things are worth arguing as much as we think, and in this time we should make special effort to reunite and put our differences aside, for the world is being divided more and more (American nation, Polish nation, and I believe we are not the only ones suffering strong antagonism and bi-polarity right now) and it's just a way to deprive the people of freedom and dignity.
