    Video was easy to follow along with. Was so quick I managed to install it over my lunch break.
    I mainly chose this tail tidy over all the others because it's one of very few that don't leave your cables exposed and it looks a lot neater than the competition.
    Feels quality too, somehow very light with no little to no flex. Quality product, might even outlast the bike.

      Well, it took me quite a bit longer than you to install, but I did it. The wiring on my KTM didn’t have the green tag, so I got the blinkers plugged in backwards. Had to remove and reclip correctly. Thanks again for your tutorial Video, so very helpful. I will put in a big plug for you on my UA-cam channel in my next Vid. AmenCornerRider 💁🏻‍♀️🏍

    FYI for anyone installing this, you will also need nuts for the end of the bolts that hold the license/number plate on. Would have been helpful if these were provided or it was stated in the video they would be required.
    Aside from that, simple install and looks great.

    hi guys, can I just say...i picked up an R&G tail tidy today...very similar...but... the R&G one doesn't allow for the discrete hiding of the cabling but instead expects you to just put some heat shrink tube over it, cable tie it to the mounting bracket and then bolt her on.... IMO it looks like a dogs breakfast. I will be returning the R&G and ordering this Mustard one right now!!! Cheers

    Hi there I was wondering if there was any problems with stock exhaust on the 790 Duke melting turn signals

    • @MustardBikes
      @MustardBikes  4 роки тому

      Hi William, if you are in the US then definately. You will need to swap your indicators out for another option. If you have the LED KTM indicators we have had a handful of people have this happen, but it seems to be very random. The bike we designed this product from still runs a stock setup and has had no issues in over a year of running.
      Our recommendation is to keep an eye on it and if need be swap to some shorter LED indicators if it becomes an issue. That said if you run an aftermarket exhaust or even just a CAT delete this all changes again! Hope that helps.

    • @DavidSpragg
      @DavidSpragg 4 роки тому

      @@MustardBikes How does a CAT delete change this? I'm asking as a US-based potential customer with an 890 Duke R. I'm considering this kit (great instructions here and nice design) by itself or with a slip-on.

    • @MustardBikes
      @MustardBikes  4 роки тому

      @@DavidSpragg our suspicion is the CAT creates a higher heat build up than an open exhaust. It seems of the handful we have had this happen to, about 2/3 retained the stock exhaust and CAT. As we mentioned it seems to be sporadic though. We have been unable to tie it down to a specific setup and of over 250 units sold we have only had 5 or 6 cases where we have had feedback that the indicators have been affected. Hope that helps!

  • @iTali4nSt4lliOn

    Hello, could you pleas tell me if this includes a reflector? Which should be necessary for it to be legal. Also, is it 30 degrees tilt or more? Thank you

    • @MustardBikes
      @MustardBikes  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Davide, we sell the reflector option as a separate part as we have found not all locations require a reflector and not every customer wants to run our reflector solution. By selling it separate we are able to keep our prices lower for those that do not require the reflector or want to run their own reflector solution.
      Here in Australia the angle needs to be more than 45 degree from horizontal so we work of that as our angle. Most product are around 50-55 degrees from horizontal or 35-40 from vertical.
      Hope that helps!

      Hi there. We have had about 4 people that have experienced this, with different setups on each bike. It seems a decat or most aftermarket pipe generally means this won't result in this happening. The bikes it did happen to had aftermarket exhausts that directed straight at the indicator with a straight outlet (ie not flowing downwards at the exit).

      Hi James, we unfortunately don't have the capacity to manufacture our own tail lights to e-mark specifications. As such we considered many aftermarket options and styles to use, taking into account quality, approval and cost. We found this light to be the most appealing without ending up with a product costing hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately use of the stock tail light was not an option, both due to it's size and mounting system.
