Love Black Balisong, great stuff, cool dude. I’ve trie the Xolo, Valkyrie, Reaper, Channel Reaper and Da Purge. And while I’ve enjoyed all of them, the sandwich reaper has been my favorite amongst them and one of my favorite Balisongs over all. And I’ve been lucky enough to try a lot. You can’t beat it especially for the price.
Lovin mine. Went for a custom from him with a toxic ano and its amazing. You hit all the selling points on it. I didn't notice the machining variations that you mentioned. She was my first, high grade Balisong and I feel like I will be in a price range of more than double before she's dethroned as my favorite.
Yep, just like a replicant, in fact they took the replicant clone as "chassis" usually this baling comes with Chinese hardware too, I don't have anything against them but if you gonna get one you have to know the truth
Has one of the best rings to it for sure lol but everyone of them I've used have tap no matter what you do. So you got extremely lucky. I will say you said slight handle bias at first then started leaning towards a slight blade bias? A little back and forth snd widhy washy there brotha. You also said no tap after weeks of use then at the end said you did have tap and fixed it? Lol you were very inconsistent in this review my friend.
I would say it comes down to preference, the kraken being channel and this reaper being sandwich ( there is a channel version as well, but personally I think the sandwich is better). The reaper is a little more rounded than the kraken. I think the kraken might be a little better for speed in your tricks, but the reaper feels more flowy, if that makes sense.

It’s marketing. Imagery. Logo’s and stamping. Seems like other balisongs just get better word or mouth or notice. It’s as if he’s merely overlooked

He said he was, but recently he posted about making 100 more so I guess there's gonna be more!
Is it better at flipping than the kraken tanto ?
My opinion? Yes! Others? Not sure, all preference.
