This is all great and honest feedback dude! Thanks for making this video! Nabalis is making a TON of changes to the hardware quality and how it's built that should, on paper, fix a lot of the tolerance issues. Those changes will be announced when they are ready!
oooh that is really good info! I was worried that this would be the final revision and that no further improvements would be made. I'll wait until those are announced then. Where can I find more vulp news? I think it would make sense to have 1 place for all of the updates if there isn't one already.

@@mengo4015 Totally. I beat the sht out of it and it still flips really good. I'm about to upgrade to a swordfish eventually cuz I want to expand my collection

I actually got this exact Bali a week ago as well :D I can do a chaplain, a full twirl, open and close it, quick draw, and a thumb rollover. I actually even practiced combining them and it looks great, if not a bit sloppy.

Just got mine in the mail today. Hands down the best beginner balisong. It's cheap without feeling cheap. You said it yourself this is the balisong trainer I would have killed for 10 years ago as a beginner. And because I'm actually writing this comment almost a year after this video was posted a lot has changed with the Vulp. The issues involving the tap have been addressed and fixed, you get lube/loctite and all the tools and bits to fix your balisong with are included as well. Also if you want to be able to do chaplains easily with it, Zippy has a really good upgrade kit the makes the balance much better. The fact that it costs $60 (actually $65 now) is kind of amazing.
I just bought a Vulp (Red) and it’ll be here Sunday. Also buying a Machinewise Prysma on the secondary market. Very new to flipping. I have a Boker Plus Bali that’s falling apart. Anyway, looking forward to learning more techniques. One last thing. Please move that cushion away from your outlet. It’s a fire hazard... lol
New trainer the addax is pretty good so it might compete with the vulp
i like the vulp got it today i notice a difference from my old onwall adax but the lube it comes with doesn't work

Just started getting into flipping! So would you recommend the vulp over the morse? My friend (who had been in the hobby longer than me) says I should get the Morse. I preferably want the vulp. What’s your opinion?
And is their any chance that the blade could nick/cut me. (Even though I know it’s a trainer)

I got both the Vulp and C116. I would like to know which one you prefer with the current iterations that the knives have now. Which one do you think is better?

Ordered a Vulp as a result of several of yours and other creators videos on it, transitioning from one of those csgo-esque mall ninja curved balisongs (which i've obviously had some issues with so far but not as many as others may suggest) after what will be a year of using that come this August, so i'm super excited to be a big boy in this big world of balisongs, thank you for your amazing reccomendation

Can you adjust the screws ? Because my cheap balisong has screws but you cant adjust them because they're destroyed instandly. Pleasse answer me!!
Yes, the vulp has adjustable T10 driver screws 👍

Mine comes in two days. Although I must say the bottle opener has me a bit nervous and making me regret my purchase. Can anyone tell me more about the bottle opener?
To anyone wondering the same thing, the bottle opener doesn’t seem the worst, although maybe I wasn’t unlucky enough. It does seem pretty rounded and not that sharp though. I am however returning it because I did not realize how slippery the aluminum was going to be, as I have only ever used cheap stainless steel balisongs. I just don’t think aluminum handles are for me.

Hey would you recommend this over a mako 4.5? I’ve only ever had cheap balis and I’m going to America so I’ll pick something up. So technically I’m not new to flipping but want something nice but not too expensive?

To say this is what the krake raken “should” be seems crazy to me. My krake raken is still my #1. I’d put my vulp at maybe 4th/5th - after the kraken, nautilus, talisong z - then the vulp/triton
I never said this is what the Krake raken should be, I said this is what the TRAINER should be. Saying that this felt closer to the live blade Kraken than the trainer did

Is the issue with tap and so, until you tune it? Does it hold up after tunning?
So far we are finding that it is hit or miss. I have beat the crap out of mine after tuning it myself and it's been fine after I abused the crap out of mine. Other people generally have it come back relatively quickly. So it's currently recommended to either tune the bushings, or to use loctite to hold the tune

@@thebrandonbakerclone I teflon taped my screws and attempted to tune my spare bushings. Unfortunately undersized them, but after slapping the original bushings back on and re-assembling, I haven’t had issues with tap luckily

lol mine came apart at the bite handle pivot on literally day four of use and now I can’t get the pivot barrel back in
Im a Karambit guy and I dont understand this. Why would you buy a knife that doesn't cut? I do my katambit tricks, and I stab myself a lot. You put a bandaid on it and you don't mess up the trick again. Why would you spend 60 bucks on a knife that doesn't cut?
Because some people care about developing and having fun with a skill far more than they ever care about knives

Ngl, putting yourself in the position to get repeatedly stabbed by a karambit seems... not smart to say the least. They make dull karambits so people don't have to practice with a live blade.

In fairness, there were HUNDREDS of units available. They are just selling out like crazy. The demand is absolutely massive and we weren't ready for that. Sorry you missed out on it!
The actual availability score we would currently give it is about 6 or 7 out of 10, since there have been mulitple drops in the past month with 1000+ units available. But hopefully it will be more regularly available soon!

@@kaidenderomero4235 On our rating system, Squid Industries historically got an 8 (it's now a 9) because they did weekly drops for most of their products, which would sell out very quickly. The Vulp has been dropping close to weekly, but not as consistently. Hence the 7. We rate a 7 as "Multiple drops per month, but not always guaranteed", which in the balisong world, is enough to be "Good", considering most other makes that you have to wait several months between drops.
@@kaidenderomero4235 So if you disagree with a 6-7, I guess you should personally ignore every Availability score on the BS Score list, since the Availability one is by far the most objective score on the list
