- this video is such a waste of time I'm really sorry, kinda forced myself to make something in the meantime, I'm still sick and this video sucks, but it's going up anyways

Honestly, a mix of high and low effort videos is healthy for you, and still good. 👍
thats what ive been thinking
Thats just simply eargasmic! Nice flips.
Could you possibly recommend any other Ti channel balis that are similar? (Tanto or kukri for the tip weight/ momentum, 4.5 oz range, and bushings. Also, zen pins are always nice)
The more I look into these Medusas the higher my already high hopes and expectations climb. Definitely not good to expect the world, but I AM trying to find my personal grail afterall, so expectations should start off higher than usual right? Well I should find out soon enough, I just pulled the trigger on a V2.
Sounds crazy! Gonna be a good saturday now that djeyeless uploaded
I really REALLy hate the v2 trainer look. the v1 looked really cool and kept the shape of the live blade. Not a fan of the more rounded tip, looks super odd.
agreed
Out of all the knives I have the Medusa is still my favorite by far. Maryn second, reaper third, alpha beast 4th...etc
theres no other knife that flips like the medusa, except the f117 and telesto, but theyre watered down versions, the medusa is such a raw experience
@@DJEyelessPyro and the telesto is way more expensive and the maker is kinda a douche...but that's just my opinion.
How do you guys feel about the Alpha Beast Infinity compared to the other ABs (or Rep even)?
And how would you say any of those compare to the Medusa? Objective or subjective, I'm really curious.
I just got a reaper and now im seriously considering just making a video on the reaper rq and then using it to trade up on a DUSA
medusas are sex bro, you like atropos stuff, youll love a medusa
Old video lol but generally a well-designed trainer will have better weight distribution than a live blade
With a live blade, you inherently face two design challenges:
- if you want the tip to be sharp, the blade is going to drop in density drastically the closer you get to the tip, and this can be exacerbated by more aggressive tip designs
- the edge of the blade has to be much thinner than the spine, obviously
A trainer doesn't have any of these limitations, so if you design it smartly you can distribute the weight more evenly while also retaining more tip weight than an equivalent live blade design
Grant is a talented and skilled machinist/designer, so he probably made the trainer blade the exact same weight as the live, but just because of the design limitations inherent to live blades, the trainer flips better
My hands r small but for some reason I like flipping heavier knives ig it’s the flow that they bring
Try the v2 now! Imo it beats the v1 ans v1 trainer! With a live blade it now does exactly what you would want. Absolutely top 3 flippers I've used. The improvements somehow just made it top s tier flipper. It's unique also and then you realize shit this thing really really flips good af lol.
i flipped the v2 proto at texas, got it on vid too, was definitely better than v1, and tbh, proto v2 is better than prod v2
@@DJEyelessPyro hey I get it and yeah v2 is really good. I just picked up the medusa special poka pretty sick ano on it tbh from him. Only 1 made like the toxic king I believe so I got lucky. I will say I've never used the proto v2 but I love the regular v2. He also stated this latest drop/batch is the best batch he's made of v2 yet in quality. So that's awesome to know! I will say this I've noticed with every knife I own I can buy 2 of the same knives from the same maker and both feel slightly different. Even though they are the same knife.
Bro when are they dropping Medusa trainers I can't find anything on their Instagram
the first drop was at blade, so id assume soon, like mine is #005
@@DJEyelessPyro oh that makes sense ok...
Nah. Konig live to konig trainer is freaking spot on. It's really good
its definitely really close, im not saying the medusa is the #1 when it comes to trainer/live balance 1:1, but its definitely up there
Heck yea, funny man with the youtube who does the flippy is back with another proper review heck yea :)
"proper" is a stretch for this video lmao
@@DJEyelessPyro lmbo
I want a trainer one!
I just love that soooound:00
medusas sound so good
So r the zen pins good tho
i just watched aaron’s video and wow. covenants are sharp
Ti Maryn or Medusa? Honest opinion. I ended up going through with that trade and I get the Medusa in a few days if all goes well.
that's a tough one, the ti maryn is definitely more competitive, the Medusa not as much, Medusa is more flowy than the maryn, maryn can do quicker style flips with more ricochets easier, both are pretty similar in balance, Medusa a bit heavier. it's all preference based and what you're looking for
Trainers better because of the material/weight distribution across the spine and front
😐
You own the live?
not mine
I remember flipping it lol
have u tried the baliplus chab? its still outta stock so i havent seen any reviews
It's in his blade show videos, watch them
blade show texas part 1, TL;DR: baliplus chab bad
But did u hand Julian an Monarch clone at blade?
i did not get the chance to
@@DJEyelessPyro damn it
Yoyoyo where can I get replacement hardware for the Orca clone. :)
m2.5 x 5mm
Where's theone madko ti review?
doesn't exist lol
@@DJEyelessPyro the one madko titanium lol you've flipped it on shorts 🤣
@@jonathantheunacceptable4259 yea you mean the one you keep commenting about, crazy
It reminds me of a ti triton but actually good
so, nothing like a triton
@@DJEyelessPyro lmao
Is it worth the 500 price tag
8:37
Nice hat
one thing that sucks about medusa are the pressfit zen pins
Gay
pressfits are nothing but a pro
@@DJEyelessPyro *problem
@@iamdissapoint4614 literally how
@@iamdissapoint4614 probably because you've only had knives with bad pressfits or no warranty.
