He had to of had a good time with you. I'm like a month or less to your channel and can't get enough so far. Being I'm disabled and on disability it takes me a long with you guys on your trips. I have a channel I got started wile in the service. And driving a BIG RIG OTR ( OVER THE ROAD ) WAS HOME 1 WEEKEND AND IN A BAD AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT and nearly lost or could have lost my right leg. Buttttt they put a bunch of steel inside of it so I still have a leg thank God, but I have a 4x4 I can't do much of and thing with. I have a friend that says he will paint it the colors I want it painted, I just can't find any one to help with the mechanical issues. ½ of the truck will be painted as the American Flag the other ½ will be painted as the Congederate Flag
Went out wheeling at Plymouth 5 corners last fall. Buddy of mine lives and has a shop (Tyson Autoworks) right down the road... great trails out through there... was cool to see it in a UA-cam vid!
Awesome video guys. I live a few miles from Bridgewater and can confirm Chataguey is no joke. Hurricane Irene changed the whole road. Its worth mentioning there that it definitely rains a lot in the summer and spots on Chataguey are prone to flash flooding. Safe travelins and I hope you get the chance to explore more of the green mountains! They never disappoint.
Chataguey is my home trail. We learned how to drive on there as 12 and 13 year Olds. Hurricane Irene definitely changed it. In 2008 I could drive my stock tacoma all the way through to barnard where my camp is. Let me know if you guys come back, I can show you some more trails. Safe travels
You should try the "OLD FLORIDA TRAIL" IF I remember correctly it starts in Vermont and ends over in Mass.. It goes over a nice MTN. AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE TOP POINT....
My XJ is on 33’s with lockers front and rear. Tim’s JL and Ron’s JK are on 35’s and have front and rear lockers. Jamie’s WJ is on about a 32” and has the Quadradrive system which is basically posi front and rears
@@DirtRoadTherapy Great info, thank you! I am considering something similar to take my family through maybe later this year, not sure if a tundra would be too big for it, I don't mind pinstripes, as long as it's not too difficult, and kids friendly, it will be perfect for me.
You would be fine on these trails in a Tundra with acceptance of some pin striping. The JK and JL are every bit as wide at the tires, and probably just a little lighter. The advantage they have is the body being narrower
Still PA based. The best “hidden” stuff I’ve found is up around Moshannon. There’s not really much legal wheeling in the state that isn’t private property.
@@DirtRoadTherapy Oh that's great to know! I'm based on VA and have been wanting to venture that way. It seems I'll really have to plan accordingly if wanting to wheel out there.
If you’re looking for a challenge, the parks like AOAA and Rausch Creek are the way to go. If you’re looking to explore, camp, see beautiful things and maybe cross a river or splash through some mud the whole middle of the state is mapped state forest land. Check out Purple Lizard Maps for for the latter, or join the DRT patreon and I can share my private tracks with you.
Send me a message when you come this way again! idk why im seeing this now but you were 10 mint. from me in Arlington and I'm ready to camp any time and add a TDI swap anytime!

You got rock roaded by VT. Lol
Guess I'll have to look into what patreon is. I've been hearing a lot about it from different vloggers/bloggers
Heck of a trip man! I had a blast. Thanks for coming with!
Absolutely!

Awesome video. Those tombstones were crazy. "Soldier of the Revolutionary War." Wow!
It’s humbling for sure
@@DirtRoadTherapy Very typical on Class IVs in VT. There's some with pre Revolutionary War stones a bit further south from where you were.
definitely want to check these roads out since i just moved to VT 2 years ago, looks like a ton of fun for a weekend
It’s really fantastic you have those available to you. Take care of them and enjoy!
Another awesome vid dude! Always like watching your stuff, inspires me to get out and do more.
That’s a huge compliment, thank you!
Class 4 roads may be public ways, but the land bordering them is private
Correct! Did you get any impression from this that I was saying it is not?

Outstanding video!
Thank you very much glad you enjoyed
This trip looked like a lot of fun. Hate that I wasn’t able to go.
It’ll happen again, don’t worry 😉
Awesome channel! Great vids and your XJ is sweet!

Oh yeah, I’ve heard about it, It’s on my list for sure!
@@DirtRoadTherapy I've got 2 friends that live up in the BENNINGTON VT AREA they say there are TONS OF TRAILS UP THERE...
very nice video, what is the setup on the vehicles? tire size and lockers ?

@@DirtRoadTherapy Thank you so much! I am friend with Ron and would need to hire him for a guided run sometime!
Great video! New subber here. Are you originally from PA? Know of any other PA trails less know only to locals?

@@DirtRoadTherapy Noted! Hey I really appreciate that and will do!
Do you have the route you guys took? I actually live in grafton where the fire tower was and would to do this trip
Any tips on finding class 4 roads ? The ones that are labeled impassable are they really not passable ?
I talk about this in part 2, and I’ll plan to make an episode on route planning
There's websites that list all of them
