Maybe I'm an asshole to not want to feel alone again,

maybe I've conflated mediocre music with being underrated

I can't even find the words to describe this song- which is ironic because the only thing that does come to mind is that it put a sound to the whirlwind of pain and fear I'm feeling right now. I hope you find half as much meaning in creating these songs as I find listening to them, because they've changed me into someone I think is better than the person I would've been without hearing them.

"the older I get the harder it gets to forgive" you have no idea how real that is. It's hard to forgive people that wrong you. I try but I'm too flawed to really do it. The anger over what they did is too much sometimes...what's the difference anyway if we all just live to die
Forgiveness is for you as much as it is for them. You being hurt isn't going to hurt someone who doesn't care about you, and holding onto anger about someone who does only hurts you more. You don't have to let them back in to let it go, just drop the weight, you deserve the relief. ❤

This is beautiful. I know to you this has likely already lost its meaning, as everything does with time, the more you practice it, the less emotion you assign to it until eventually you’re just queuing emotions and lyrics and all that. But regardless, this is meaningful. You may not believe it or not but this made me want to cry. It’s like… imagining a person singing this isolated in a space ship somewhere in the vast universe. Waiting for something that may not happen. Or maybe it will. You feel completely alone, but there are people who feel exactly how you feel. I feel it, that’s for sure. You managed to bring words to fears and thoughts so many people deal with, just by sharing your personal experience. That, in it of itself is beautiful.

Music that helps me be okay with living without it feeling as if i need to sugercoat the horrible parts of my life. In this song you seem to express a desire to be remembered or a footprint to leave on the world. all this is to say that you have definitly left a footprint in my life. I understand that that is maybe not the glamoreus fame you want, nor the one that you deserve, if that fame is achieved through talent at least. I’ve struggled with extremely severe atypical depression as far back into my childhood as I can remember and there have been more times than I can count where I’ve been beyond ready to end it all, just to be pulled back from the brink because I was able to help someone else with their suffering because of all the suffering I’ve experienced in my life.
Ever since I found your music, it’s what I go to when I’m at that point again and it makes me feel like the roles are reversed for once and you’re the one helping me they way I’ve always helped others.. I know I probably did a shit job explaining things; but just know that right now as I sit here typing this with tears in my eyes, your music has saved my life many times and I am beyond grateful that you exist, even though we have never met.

The Depth you shown in this song is incredible you deserve all the love you receive and not trying to be mean but your other music just doesnt have what this song does . Listening to this i can tell it really means a lot to you i can relate to the pain in your voice. I try not to listen to sad songs anymore as artists can easily turn meaningless lyrics into a cashgrab. This isnt that though its raw and its honest. Keep it raw and honest and you will make it.
